This could be a great park... There's a variety of play equipment for all ages but sadly some of it is broken. It's brilliant for toddlers when the older children are in school. There's a pirate ship surrounded by sand, swings, slides etc. I can't recommend going when it's school holidays because it's generally overrun by teenagers and overcrowded. It could really do with some stronger rules being implemented to keep it a safe and happy environment for all.

This park is very dated now, with about 4/5 of the play equipment has been removed or some of it as so it cannot be played on. East Riding of Yorkshire Council needs to desperately update. The climbing frames are either for the very young or for more the competent climbing young people to play on. If your young person is unable to climb scramble nets then t you can't get up to play on the slide !!

Not great Haltemprice/East riding council this park used to be fantastic, there's at least four or five things out of action or that have been removed completely, there's not a great deal worth coming for to be honest

Great little park, but zip wire out of action.advantage of sports centre next to it with toilet facilities and cafe. Also not far from bus stop, and plenty of parking.

We visit this park fairly regularly as the kids love it and we live fairly local so it makes a nice walk for us as a family.Sadly the park has gained a reputation as a good meet up point for young teenage groups. This isn't a problem but what is the problem is the fact that the park is constantly been trashed. Litter all over the place, benches been set on fire, play equipment vandalised. This is mainly taking place a night but even on a Sunday afternoon there are constantly groups of teens riding through the park with hoods up and at one point balaclavas on, not ideal when the majority of the children playing are under 10 years old and are having to dodge bikes and be kept out of the way of the swearing that been thrown about.Sadly some of the equipment needs upgrading as it's been in the park for a number of years and really is starting to show it's age, can't blame the council for not wanting to throw money at it when previous stuff is been mistreated. The park as a whole isn't a disaster when it's been cleaned and maintained and it is in a nice area of the city just next to the Haltemprice leisure centre in West Hull. We'll continue to visit the park and hopefully sometime soon the council will give it the upgrade it needs.

A very popular play park for younger children, even having a sandpit amongst its other attractions. Plenty for youngsters to climb on, swing on and whirl around on, consequently at times, school holidays come to mind, the place gets rather crowded. And at times not crowded by those of the intended age group for this park, mostly they behave whilst younger children are around, but not always. Equipment wise there is a fair choice but with overzealous use it often means that some of that equipment is unusable.

Due to wear and tear or breakages the park facilities are a bit limited at the moment for bigger kids. Hopefully they'll fix the giant swing and bouncer soon
