Sorry about the unconvincing MOT fail at Bankhead branch and then passed with more than double the charge. Difficult to accept and digest.Perhaps they need to reflect back unless the groupon promotional charge is for advertisement only.Giving a single star is painful but cannot help this time.

So I bought a car of someone who had it motd here , so they passed it with airbag light on , needed a new module cost me 350 quid , then the lower arm snapped in half while driving nearly causing a serious accident, of course the v5 never appeared so I applied for it myself so I could identify mot station , I suspect the private seller has a friend there that passed the car and will be passing on all the details to the relevant authorities to investigate , I would avoid this place at all Costs if you value the life of yourself kids and others please check the photo perhaps the mot tester was stevie wonder to miss the flashing airbag lights the big red one on dash, please look at photo and also the wish bones that were so rotten they were like paper mashy .

Always been awesome woth tyre changes, MOT and any services I had with them. To everyone here is a suggestion (rather human courtesy) be friendly and let them do their job, explain things if you have want something checked out before you leave your vehicle and follow up when you collect it. Keep your egos and grumpiness at your doorstep and treat people with some respect and friendliness especially in the service industry and they will always be happy to help.People make the world go around a smile goes a long way.

Was failed on MOT for brake drum being weak. All it had was little bit of rust which I cleaned with WD40, no change needed and passed the MOT. MOT should be users to fail cars that are not safe to drive not for simple wear and tear. They charged for retest as well. Overall very poor experience and would not trust to do MOT in the future.

Just bought a car a day ago, car did pass an mot test at colin’s garage. Car had only 2 little advisories just front tyres near to legal limit and exhaust gas leaks a little bit. Next day lights on the dash was like xmas tree, all possible lights are on, abs, engine management etc. took car for check up to the mechanic, mechanic told me that the car impossible to get through the mot test as currently so many problems with the car. I noticed that the guy who sold the car had full Colin’s outfit, must be working at the same garage. Might be a tester or college helped him out for a little “fee” get it through.Embarrassing, don't trust this garage, avoid!

I put my car in for an MOT was told the suspension was done, asked them to keep anything that they took off and replaced, they didn't, They had my car for 5 days, paid over £600 for work done and they passed the MOT! the mechanic took my car for a drive told me the banging, which was happening before it went in for the MOT, was a wheel bearing which was not an advisory on my MOT certificate, I was asked to put it back in on the Friday for it to be fixed and it would cost another £250 because its a hard job they offered me a courtesy car and a payment plan to pay it up , now I may not know a lot about cars but I do know when I'm being ripped off and made a fool of!! so I took the car for an 2nd opinion without the parts that I asked to be kept, there was no way to know if I actually needed the parts of my suspension to be replaced. What was actually wrong with my car was the anti roll link bar again which was not on the advisory which is an MOT fail, I wouldn't put my car back there, the mechanic obviously thought I was stupid enough to believe the rubbish he was spouting!! Absolute cowboys!!!!!!
