Inspired Cycle Engineering - ICE Recumbent Trikes

June 26, 2021 my wife and I purchased two previously owned ICE Recumbent Trikes. We knew absolutely nothing about recumbents but found these listed on Facebook Marketplace. The day before we made the purchase we contacted ICE in Cornwall UK and was surprised at the quick response we received. Since then I have corresponded with them several times and have always received quick, helpful information. How refreshing that is in this day of Covid shutdowns and long delays to actually have immediate contact, even with our six hour time difference. Even though these trikes are 10 and 11 years old, ICE stands behind their products. Since neither we nor the original owners purchased directly from ICE in Cornwall UK; ICE went above and beyond expectations to assure we are happy with their product. I definitely give them a five star rating for their fine recumbent trikes and customer support service.

I have been riding ICE trikes for about four years now .Very well engineered machines.Functional works of art.I can ride all day and nothing hurts when I get done!!!You just cannot ride one without smiling.

I bought one of their trikes, an ICE Sprint Tour X and am very pleased with it.Well made using premium materials and beautifully finished. Built to last and money well spent.Great after sales support too. I have no hesitation in recommending ICE. If you are looking for a recumbent trike look no further.

Drew and the team are amazing. Treated me like royalty. They didnt waffle on or try to make a sale. They stuck to what I needed and helped along each step of the way. Many businesses could take a leaf from ices book.

I have only had my ICE Adventure HD for a short time I see that the company's reputation for quality is well deserved. I like everything about it and my choice to switch from the Rohloff to the Enviolo Auto due to back order was a good choice, the Enviolo is surprising. The reasons these guys do not get 5 stars is first the ICE ordering process is flawed and I would like to suggest that they add a time to build" basing it of supply chain and assembling capacity. The other is the dealer process

Strong construction nimble very honest. Don't waste your money with cheap Imports from Asia. I learned from my own mistakes. I am very very satisfied

Two of the ice trike family delivered my Adventure HD personally. The level of personal attention from this company is second to none. Im still in contact with team members and I know if I have any issues then they are just a phone call away.The trike itself is a absolute beast. The hill climbing abilities are outstanding. Couple that with comfort thats second to none then you have something truly special.

They may be expensive but if for whatever reason you are unable to ride a traditional bicycle - and you've always wanted to experience the open road - then they are well-worth saving for and purchasing.Very well made and rugged, but don't expect a mountain bike: an ICE trike is very much an urban vehicle for some slight off-road (National cycle routes are fine, with mud and rain, but don't try going up a mountain!)Communication with ICE is excellent - both email and on the 'phone.I've had my ICE Adventure for six months and love it, mostly commuting but also weekend leisure use.
