We approached Robert, as our then garden, with its odd slopes and elevations, was particularly challenging to use and maintain. Especially, with our little one needing space to play, it was discouraging to have limited access and usability, despite the decent area. Robert was thorough and professional from the beginning! Robert immediately understood what we wanted to achieve with our garden and it was fantastic how he then brought his ideas for the grass paths into the design. These ideas were so well thought out and really enhanced the way the garden turned out. He really invested himself into our project. Our new-build property was left with a sloping rear area of bare earth and a front area of rough gravel. I had some ideas for the sort of semi-traditional garden I wanted: Robert fleshed these out via helpful 3D software renderings from different points of view and with different colour ways. Then the build began – and I’ve been very pleased with the results ever since. We now have a charming back garden on three levels with beautiful grey Indian sandstone paving, smooth Scottish river-washed pebbles, and visually interesting trellises. The border areas are large enough for me to experiment with different plantings, but not too large for maintenance to be a chore. Our front area has also been remarkably transformed. Robert’s garden design and build service pays great attention to detail, and he and his team make every effort to deliver a finished product that will delight the customer. They are a pleasure to work with – I’d go with no other garden design and landscaping company.

Robert and his team created a new patio for us, including the installation of a deck and paving the surrounding path. It was a great experience from start to finish. I have commissioned Robert and his excellent team over many years now to build installations and pathways in my Victorian garden.
