Sophie is fantastic. My daughter was nervous to begin with & Sophie put her at ease instantly, the environment is perfect for children to feel relaxed & comfortable but be able to learn at the same time.. My daughters reading & phonics especially have improved so so much since starting the sessions with Sophie. The great communication means I always feel well informed of sessions & her progress…I can’t recommend Sophie enough she is an amazing tutor who really helps my daughter enjoy her learning with making it fun & positive encouragement.

I found Sophie through a friend and could honestly not fault the tutoring she provides. My son looks forward to going to his weekly session and recently commented that it only felt like 5mins and the sessions weren’t long enough. Sophie really homes in on my sons interests to support his learning and he seems to be growing in confidence all the time!Very easy communication and booking system for holidays etc Gold star service!

Sophie is the most caring tutor you will ever find - I feel so blessed we found her.My 4 year old looks forward to her lesson every week and is always asking to go for longer.My daughter has made so much progress in a short space of time which was reflected at parents’ evening.Sophie will always go above and beyond for every young person who is lucky enough to go her way. We have been seeing Sophie for the last couple of months. We are so pleased that we found her. J is very shy and get nervous around new people. Before we had our first session with Sophie I was worried about how he would be about us leaving him on his own with her. But we really didn't need to worry she is incredibly warm, friendly and fun and this put J at ease.Now J looks forward to his sessions with her and afterwards he can't wait to tell us what he has done. We have also noticed an improvement on his reading and he is starting to enjoy reading his books as well.

A teacher recommended Right Start Tutoring for my 8 years old twins as preparation for 11+ exam.We attended two sessions so far. Kids were really excited to meet their first tutor. Sophie greeted us at the door with a large smile on her face. As soon as they entered in the premises kids loved the learning environment and they didn’t realise when the session has passed!Sophie sends me a report after each session which I find it really useful.Kids are looking forward to attending regular sessions from September onwards! My daughter had some one-to-one tutoring with Sophie to help boost her confidence ahead of her year 4 multiplication check. Sophie has a warm and friendly approach and my daughter was always motivated for every session. Sophie tailored the sessions to meet my daughter's needs by listening to her interests and incorporing fun games into her learning. After a few months of sessions, my daughter felt more equipped and confident for her test. Her anxiety of needing to answer each question within six seconds reduced, as timestables became more of a playful game and less about panicking what the answer was. Not only did Sophie increase my daughter's confidence in her Math skills, she now has a range of strategies to use in her learning, which is helping my daughter to meet her year five targets. A big thank you, Sophie, for your patient and friendly approach. We all have a teacher who inspires us when we are young, I know you will be one of them for my daughter.

We feel extremely lucky to have found Sophie. Our daughter never complains about going to lessons with Sophie and she now has a love for learning. Her Maths and English have improved but most importantly her confidence has. I can’t recommend her enough. She has taken the time to get to know our daughter and works with her strengths.

My son absolutely loves his tutoring sessions with Sophie. He struggled with self confidence and self belief so I wanted to find someone kind and patient who would teach him in a fun way. From the first session he came out happy and excited about all the learning he had done and how much fun he had. To this day he still wants to go and learn with Sophie, and his confidence in his learning has massively increased. Not to mention he is excelling at school. It is a lovely learning environment for the kids. I would highly recommend.

I highly recommend Sophie! My 2 children, both very different, have both improved in confidence and capability over a range of skills in the last year, having many gaps due to switching from an overseas education system. Sophie adapts their learning to their individual needs and has an aura of patience, enthusiasm and passion that is infectious. Both children love their tutoring!
