Had a great lunch at Britannia which is a little gem on the edge of Northampton. Service was great, the food came out hot, in good time & you could tell it was freshly prepared. Portion sizes mean you won't leave on an empty stomach but there is still space for something after and we managed to grab a table by one of the fires.Will definitely be visiting again and getting a Sunday lunch booked in!

We're regular visitors to The Britannia and I must say it has come on leaps and bounds.. Service is always great, the food is spot on and the kids menu is fantastic value for money. Highly recommend the Sunday lunch, I've attached a photo of my daughters kids portion from this past weekend, it was just delicious and such a great size..I was looking forward to some cheesecake but just couldn't fit it in this time! It's a beautiful setting, it lovely sitting out by the water. Definitely worth a visit. I didn't get his name, but the guy seeing at the bar is a credit to you..

We've booked for a Sunday roast. The food was incredible, really tasty, and a great portion size too. Very friendly staff, Laura was our server and I must say she was really lovely.We will definitely come back.

Really nice food well prepared and presented.. brought over quickly waitress was accommodating despite bring busy resolved any issues we had. Food was nice good value for money.

Lovely, friendly pub. Lunch and dinner both delicious. Would particularly recommend the sea bass and scallop dish. Staff were friendly and always there at the right time. Also, very convenient for the Holiday Inn opposite. Will definitely be back.

The food was great the price was good too the waiters were funny they keat droping the food on the floor but they were new so we told them don't worry ☺️

Came here for food and drinks by boat of all things as it has moorings for barges and boats as it sits next to a river/canal.Was a lovely sunny day when we went so we sat in the large outside seating area next to the river.Food was lovely and not too expensive staff were friendly.

My wife and I ate here last night as we were staying locally. I have to say that the welcome we received - including the love shown to our dog - was absolutely fabulous. The food was great and the service level outstanding. All in all, a great evening. We'll definitely be returning.
