Royston Motors - Car Sales

Avoid if you can. Before purchasing a car from them, I asked how many keys came with the car, and was told two. They failed to disclose one of the keys is completely ruined and the buttons are unusable. Then came the delivery day; first of all, the contract said I had paid £1k less than I had paid; secondly, they didn't disclose that the car had an oil leak. Upon discovery of the leak later (after parking it in the driveway for a few days), I informed them to which they said they'd fix it. They did, only for the car to start leaking oil again a couple of weeks later when it was out of warranty. So now I'm stuck with an old car, out of warranty, with an oil leak. Waste of money and not happy with the lack of honesty from Roystan Car and Commercial.

Staff are a friendly bunch and not pushy at all with the sale i was given as much time as I wanted to view the car which I respect. Unfortunately the Mercedes hasn’t quite been what I expected and tbh disappointed. I understand it was a 10 year old car but the issues that I have are funnily enough not covered by warranty and extremely costly! The chain was making a slapping noise from cold after purchasing This is a £1000 fix and needs doing! I did question this in fairness manager said he’d help in someway however I’m not local and wanted it in my local specialist as needed car for work. I have also since been told the clutch needs replacing (very costly!) and then on the ramp found an alarming amount of oil leaking from gasket down the side of engine/underneath. (This isn’t just a small leak). The car had a fresh MOT prior to sale. A contribution would have helped the matter as owned the car for just 3 weeks. I can’t fault the staff themselves they are friendly etc but the car I’m not so happy with.

I've purchased a toyota yaris from Royston Cars. Although it was lockdown the process and service was excellent I payed the deposit and I gave them an ETA and the car was ready for me. All that was left for me to do was to tax the car and insure it and I was on my way.

Bought the car during latter part of the covid crisis. Viewing was by appointment only and despite the very unusual circumstances the transaction was handled really well. We felt safe during our appointment and we are pleased with the car purchased.

he has my car for for almost 2 weeks its a small repair an hours work but it ,wont run without it he wont fix it despite promising me daily at first i desperatly need it for christmas he wont answer or return my calls my only recourse left is legal action as he has the key for it absolute nightmare

I bought my car from these lovely men in January. It was a pleasant and smooth experience and I was on my way with my new car by closing time! Very nice guys, professional and honest! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good used car x

Bought a second hand but well maintained Toyota Corolla from here, and it was pretty hassle free. But on the way home, car had a flat tyre. Informed them over the phone and was told to replace it and send them the invoice, which I did. The cost of the tyre was transferred to my account within days. So far, so good. Car comes with 3 months warranty, I am sure they will look after it if anything goes wrong. Fingers crossed, it won't, as it seems like a good car.

Worst company and never trust them again. So I bought a car from them in January. Not even a month later my clutch cable went. Fixed it FOC and another month went by, they has to fix my clutch again because the first time didn’t do it properly and I had to pay for it even though in warranty.they also had to fix my gear box (oil it) too along with rear brake Caliper. They didn’t sell me a good condition car at all. Also . It took them 4 full day to fix my clutch , oil my gear box and rectify my rear break Caliper. Every day I asked how my car was getting on and how long it will take but all I got back was “I will let you know later” but never heard back from them later. Wednesday the day before I got my car, I called the southall garage up and said pick up Thursday afternoon. Thursday came and now got told ready Thursday evening at 6.30. This was by me calling them and they didn’t have the decency to call me back. If I didn’t call them , I wouldn’t of known when it was ready to collect. To conclude, a mechanic to check out the car after buying a car from them as they don’t sell you good condition cars nor do they have good customer service. Will never go back to them again after my warranty it up!

I bought a Corsa from these guys and they lied about the car being serviced recently in house."I've had to spend £267 (I wouldn't trust their warranty so I went to a good mechanic to fix the issues) to service and have an oil pressure switch changed as well as some minor suspension work done
