Skye Tours

This was a great tour! The driver was very knowledgeable about the area and kept us on schedule. I do wish we could have more time at some of the stops but, to do that, the tour would need to start earlier.

Amazing to see wild dolphins

We travelled as a family group with our excellent driver/guide Rob on the 3 day Skye tour. It was a fabulous experience. We'd specifically chosen this tour because it visits the most places, spends 2 nights on Skye, and offers the most in our view. It was accordingly jam-packed, and we had long days. However, if you want to really see Skye, we highly recommend this tour and Tour Skye.However, we were disappointed that we didn't have the expected stop in Glencoe. The weather was fine to stop but our guide seemed to want to get to our destination too much - a shame as Glencoe was a place those of us who'd been there before wanted to share with our other family members in the group.Similarly, the expected stop at the Telford bridge didn't materialise as Rob had mentioned it would.In all the tour was a little rushed"

I had a wonderful tour with Skye Tours. Morie, the organiser is a wonderful lady who helped me book this tour just a day before. Rody, the tour guide is again a wonderful person who speaks about the history of highlands, and take care of each traveller’s destination so that no one misses the bus or train. I really liked the sense of humour he has which made the whole tour exciting.

My partner and i were on your Skye tour on Sat 14 May 12md from Broadford. Your driver Marshall is well named. We found him to be arrogant, controlling, rude and disrespectful. He allocated seating, prioritising his non paying family member and making us sit at opposite ends of the bus. During the day we asked to sit together and were told allocated seating could not be changed. Twice he rudely told passengers they were not allowed to speak... once when a couple were speaking to each other about their child and again when another passenger was asking questions.After emphasising punctuality, Marshall was 15 minutes late collecting passengers after lunch with no explanation or apology. Passengers commented they could have had a different meal and used the time if they had known. Another passenger said they thought punctuality was not only for passengers but for tour drivers also.Later when passengers requested a photo stop Marshall said there was no time to stop. The passenger said Marshall was 15 minutes late after lunch. Marshall said this had nothing to do with it, the passenger was being loud, there would be no talking and passengers would listen to music.Unbelievable.The scenery on Skye is magnificent and we enjoyed the company of the other passengers. We have met 4 of the other passengers over the last 2 days and none of us will be recommending this tour.Perhaps you are unaware of Marshall's attitudes and i hope you are able to improve the attitude of your driver

Today we were booked to go on an all day tour of Isle of Skye with the Fairy Pools from Inverness. What a disappointment! We booked the tour months ago and showed up on time for the tour, only to find it oversold and overcrowded! They expected us to squish into a small bus for eleven to twelve hours and totally had insufficient room for us. If you are thinking about booking this tour, be prepared to be a sardine in a can! We refused to accept this type of treatment and requested a refund, but were denied. Unethical business. All they want is your money and could care less about your comfort. Find another company.

The tour guide Marshall, does not drop you off at the locations promised on the site. While on the tour Marshall told us about how for the natives of Skye deals were made with a hand shake and treated as a bond. If so, Marshal is a poor example of his cultural heritage. The site promised a drop off in Armadale, but he refused because it was apparently out of his way. Instead he made us pay for our own taxi. I really feel betrayed.

My husband and I took this tour on September 5th and it was a great experience! We were picked up at the station right on time. Our tour guide was very informative about the island sights and history. He wore traditional Scottish clothes, and was also very entertaining. Highly recommend this tour. They also dropped us at our hotel afterwards which was a great convenience for us.
