Been coming here for about 40 years! It's old school, but in a charming way. Make no mistake, there are hundreds of records, cassettes, CDs etc here all at amazing prices. Pete the owner is very approachable and knowledgeable. If you can't find it here, come back soon and look again!

Lots of fairly priced records perfect for filling a collection with popular records that aren’t too rare or expensive, there is a small section for collectible/rare items which does usually have good items. Very good selection of cassettes and CDs

Brilliant retro record shop! A must-visit spot for Oasis fans.Iconic reference in the ‘Definitely Maybe’ album. A variety of vintage vinyl and CDs. Cheap prices. Small old-school structure, how it should be.Located in Burnage, home of the Gallagher brothers. Far from the city centre. Only go if you have the intention of purchasing. Independently owned. Stopped in as a tourist from America, as any Oasis fan/record collector would and it was such a wonderful experience. Mr. Sifter (real name is Mr. Howard) was such a sweet, gentle and delightful man, asking my friend and I where we’re from, telling us stories of his honeymoon and just casual conversation. His shop is very well organized and has a plethora of vintage posters of Manchester bands all throughout. Bought 4 records and 6 CDs for £40. Give this man your business. He’s a good man. Take care

The owner was very friendly and chatty, even let me take a photo as I'm a keen Oasis fan. Also have a huge selection of vinyl and Cd's in which I obviously bought Oasis from Sifters even though I have them all haha.
