Immersion cylinder packed up leaving us with no hot water. Two other electricians we spoke to told us to buy a new one and to call them back and they would fit. Stuart came round the evening he got the call from us (17:45) to inspect, identified it simply needed a reset because of limescale build up around the thermostat, showed me how to do it in future, charged almost nothing for his time, and advised how to identify whether it would turn in to a long-term problem. I cannot praise his honesty enough, and when we next need more substantial electrical work done he will be our first port-of-call.
