I went to this garage for an interim service and they basically told me my car was scrap. This was not at all true! They lied to me about severe structural issues to try to get me to spend over a grand on repairs. I’m disappointed that I was taken advantage of like this. After a second opinion the only issue was one tire that needs replacing. I am a vulnerable young woman with autism and other mental health issues and this caused me a lot of distress and caused me to miss work. If I could give zero stars I would!

Had our MOT and Service done here recently and they did a great job.Very friendly staff, prices are reasonable and very transparent with no hidden costs.

Disappointed ordered and paid to have car battery fitted after waiting half an hour only to be told it was to compaclated to fit on my car .

Very good garage and customer service. Managed to fit my MOT booking in last minute due to a technical fault at another garage, and has additional 2 new front tyres fitting quickly and efficiently. Thanks for your help getting me back on the road.

Great service and very friendly staff. They couldn’t diagnose our issue with the car because they didn’t have the specific branded diagnostic tool, but they got much closer to finding the issue, and sent us away with no charge since they had been unable to diagnose the exact problem. Although the outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, their professionalism and generosity in not charging was much appreciated at a stressful time.

I booked in to have my battery checked after my car was repeatedly failing to start. The team members were able to order a new battery to the store and have it fitted within a couple of hours. I was really pleased with the service provided and the team members were professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Great service! Went in for a free brake check after the brake light came on - they quickly identified the problem and repaired it within a day. They also arranged for me to collect the car with the spare key on a Sunday. Friendly and knowledgeable communication throughout.

Disappointed. Had booked an appointment to replace a windscreen wiper. Got there and was informed that they would have to order a part which I was surprised about. More to the point they were unable to tell me how long the wait for the part would be. I don't blame the garage, I blame Halford's systems. One big plus point was that there was no quibble about refunding the money, and the staff were as helpful as they could be under the circumstances

Booked MOT and service 2 weeks in advance and was given 1130 drop off time. On arrival I was told it would be ready about 1600.I tried to ring through and check actual finish time but after 6 calls ringing out for 30 minutes I gave up and caught the bus here.Arrived at 1600 and was told it would be another hour or so.I consider this to be appalling customer service, not only deliberately misleading me on the pick up time when booking but also refusing to update me or even to answer the phone.Guess where my next service won't beGuess also where I will not be using for my tyre changes after always using Halfords and their other company Tyres on the Drive. Pity I just used them 2 months ago for 4 tyres (I always change all 4 at a time)Finally got my car 1720, 80 minutes late.

Disappointed. I had an inspection booked for early in the morning. However, at the day before called to the staff and kindly asked them to move my appointment for later during the day and suggested a specific time. They confirmed any time during the would be OK. When I approached the centre, there was no car mechanics available. No inspection was provided on my car.Guys I was rushing from London, on the day of train strike to come to you.Thank you for being so respectful.
