Very small venue with parking issues . House manager was very rude taking my card off me by grabbing it at the bar then continued to f** about while I waited for him to return my debit card . He was also rude to customers regarding parking . Not the level of professionalism you would expect. Luck for them the act was good .other wise this review would of been a lot worse.Other staff were much more professional .

Although I've lived in Stockport since 2006, I'd never been in here until they put on a blues festival. The bands were great, it was a comfortable seat and they also had excellent acoustic style live music in the bar area. A perfect couple of hours was spent in there.

It's been a great season, I'll be getting a season ticket again, Run by volunteers, Credit to these fine folk, Unlike other Theatres, I feel that customers are Tolerated at the bar after the play,

Stockport Garrick Theatre
Went last Saturday with my son & his fiancè.It has had a refurbishment with new ladies loos which are fresh & clean.There is a new bar where you can buy very reasonably priced drinks & order some for the interval! I do have mobility problems which made the stairs a bit of a problem but as it's such a cute little theatre there aren't too many of them.The play,a spoof Sherlock Holmes,was excellent,as usual & all three of us thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Nice little theatre! Looking forward to coming back to see some showsStaging area is a nice size with a decent little bar.For performers there are two backstage areas that have mirrors and seating.
