Had the pleasure of having Niki train our whippet puppy. We haven't had a dog for many years and so to have someone to ask questions and offer advice has been invaluable. Her style of training has really helped our puppy be a well behaved and trained dog and I'm looking forward to continuing working with her in the future.

We have a 3 year old Romanian Rescue with some fear and anxiety -based reactive behaviour. My husband and I felt lost on what was the right and wrong thing to do for Luna in these situations and how to help her. Niki helped us with this and gave us the tools we needed to start building on Luna’s confidence. We found the concept training really made sense for Luna and although the work takes time, effort and dedication, we can already see changes in her confidence. The game-based training really helps to build a bond with your dog and promote trust in our cautious and pessimistic pup. We look forward to continuing what we have learnt with Niki and reaping the rewards.

We sought the expertise of Niki to assist with our two-year-old wire-haired dachshund, a breed known for its strength and remarkable stubbornness. Our primary concern revolved around the dog's tendency to exhibit excessive excitement whenever we endeavored to take him for a walk.The dog had a habit of pulling and dragging us along the street, accompanied by random barking directed at larger dogs.Over the course of three meetings with Niki, she skillfully conveyed and demonstrated in a calm and reassuring manner what was required from us to ensure Mitty's well-contained behavior. We diligently practiced what we had learned between these sessions. At the end of the month, we take great pride in our fairly well-behaved dog (though there's still room for improvement) and our own progress in managing him.Niki's relaxed approach to training proves to be highly beneficial for all parties involved.We wholeheartedly recommend Niki's training to anyone who may be experiencing misunderstandings with their dogs.

I have had a few sessions with Nikki and have been super impressed with her work!..She has been helping me with my 1 year old Pomeranian who I once thought was a lost cause!! however I’m pleased to say he has responded really well to Nikkis game-based training and I have been seeing results since day 1 !Nikki has been patient, calm and understanding - she has also given me a lot of insight into his behaviours and helped me understand why he reacts the way he does…most of all she did not make me feel like a bad “dog mum” for some of my dogs bad habits!!It has been a pleasure working with nikki so far…I would definitely recommend Nikki to anyone in need of dog training - you can be sure you will see results !! :)

I selected Niki for dog training sessions for my Maltese puppy Milo who suffered from anxiety and confidence issues, which led to difficult walks and alarm barking.Since working with Niki and through a targeted set of games, I have seen much improvement in Milo’s confidence. Although he is still barking (mainly owes to his breed I understand), this is has reduced significantly, and we now know how to manage this effectively through the guidance that Niki has provided.Niki has been a pleasure to work with, patient and a good listener! Highly recommend her services.

Niki French is so passionate about helping dogs (and their guardians) with any struggles that they are experiencing. Having been a member of her online support group, had a behavioural session, read her book “stop walking your dog” and been involved in the last two Pupfest events I can’t recommend the support you can get from her enough. The changes in my nervous dog over this time have been heartwarming and the obvious, judgement free, support you get from Niki has been invaluable.
