Walking Tours in Stirling
I found this a pedestrian tour of Stirling. It only considered the town's history in the times of Walice/Bruce & Mary Queen of Scots. All other history was ignored & there was little attempt to link past events to current afairs.Half an hour on Wikipedia will provide more nuance & depth.

Beth was a great guide: knew and was passionate about Stirling and it’s history, and spoke about it in a people focused way - the tidbits about the players and events. She made history come alive. Beth was very inclusive of a varied group, personable and skilled. We were so impressed with Beth we booked another walking tour with the same company in a different city. Highly recommend.
