Rock Moor House Bed and Breakfast

Absolutely wonderful place! We arrived late at night and the owner was kind enough to stay up and wait for us. There was cake and sherry we could have in the study. The building is absolutely beautiful, staying there I felt like I was a rich, middle class British person in the 20s. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! There was even freshly prepared fish (I don't remember what kind, but apparently it's a local delicacy and it was delicious!) and other types of warm breakfast to choose from and of course also a cold buffet and the most delicious fresh fruits. The surroundings are gorgeous, wonderful walks to be had. We were truly sad to go.

What a charming residence . The decor was in keeping with the period property. The room was very comfortable with good en suite facilities. Breakfast was fabulous with a huge choice. The experience was capped off with a charming hostess. Would definitely revisit

This was my first visit to Northumberland. The welcome we received here was warm and friendly, and everything about our stay was as good as it could be. The rooms were very comfortable and the feeling of being in a home from home was completed by being able to sit and relax in a lovely sitting room. The food was excellent - do try the Craster kippers with a poached egg for breakfast, and it is worth staying in to dine.

A* we will stay again. Cosy ,clean wonderful breakfast. Looked after well lots of home cooked cake in the lobby for a late snack, lovely touch. Seeing horses from my Windows, beautiful . Friendly and homely. Close to historic towns.

Stayed here recently and will happily stay again, the house was beautiful and the room I stayed in was lovely, the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! The owner was lovely and cooks a fantastic breakfast.

Friendly and accommodating. Nice clean rooms, old style house with lovely natural settings. Evening meal available with home made items. B + B plus. Great.
