I feel so lucky to have found Jo! I wasn’t really sure what I was looking for in a personal trainer, but knew I was stuck in a rut and short of time with 3 young children, and struggling off the back of some family trauma. Jo is amazing, friendly and supportive and tailors each session which is exactly what I need! Pure ‘me time’ to focus, and progress with my health and fitness goals. I’ve realised after many gym memberships, fad diets etc that one to one training is consistent and works much better for me. I would now be lost without it! (Sorry Jo, you’re stuck with me now!) I would highly recommend Jo to anyone thinking about it or unsure…. Do it!

Jo is so friendly and supportive. Very knowledgeable and really tailors the sessions to your needs and adapts them when needed. I always look forward to my sessions with Jo, she keeps you on track with up to date programs and support to each your goals. Jo pushes you without it feeling completely outside your limits and always listens. I got back into loving exercise again thanks to Jo

After having babies and raising my young children I had lost my way with fitness. I felt dishearten and put off after attending group classes where I felt out of depth, or tying to go it alone and risking injury or failing to know what exercises I should be doing and how to push myself.Last year I started training with Jo, initially taking her 12 week 1:1 kick start programme, then moving to weekly 1:1 PT sessions.Under Jo’s expert guidance I have been focusing on the holy trinity of strength (weight training), cardo (HIT) and balance. In the last 10 months I’ve built strength, stamina, and confidence in my ability to exercise well - and to enjoy exercise!Jo keeps things fresh, introducing new routines and challenges that build fitness week on week. Earlier this year I joined Jo’s outdoor bootcamp, and was thrilled to find out I could join and keep up with other women in the group.Jo is a lovely person, she’s encouraging and keeps me motivated while pushing me to work harder and get fitter. I definitely recommend Jo to people of all athletic abilities, but if you’re a beginner (or returner) to exercise like me, my personal experience of training with Jo has been hugely positive and I would urge you to give it a go. It's an investment in yourself, and one that will be well worth it.

Jo is a fabulous coach, always supportive and encouraging in equal measure. She has provided lifelong tools for healthy eating and exercise and always keeps workouts fresh and interesting. Highly recommend for ongoing training or an extra boost to get back on track.

Red Kite Fitness and Nutrition
I have only been working with Jo for three weeks on diet and exercise. I have lost 7lbs so far, and I am starting to get my energy and strength back already. I am very impressed at how I am progressing under her personal training sessions. The exercises are varied, so you never get fed up with them .I was worried to begin with, but there was no need, she is very easy to get on with and I would highly recommend her as an excellent personal trainer.

Red Kite Fitness and Nutrition
I have been attending the post natal group classes. This is a lovely small group, which is great as it means there is lots of support from Jo. The group has been really good and I already feel much stronger. On a practical note, there is lots of parking, in a very quiet village hall, so its super easy to get to the class with kids. Jo also welcomes kids coming along and has a baby sitter there making the class so accessible and means I can focus on me while knowing my kids are happy.

I cannot recommend Jo highly enough. I had no confidence when I started working with her, even to go to a fitness class. I am now attending weekly classes in addition to my training with Jo. She has a wonderful, gentle manner and I even enjoy lifting weights now! The training is perfectly paced too, I’ve never felt over-faced. Thank you Jo!

Strongly recommended.Stroud’s new boutique studio workout gym at Five Valleys shopping centre is the business. Small groups of no more than 4 led by Personal Trainer, Jo, mean you get the benefits of a PT focused on making you workout better but… without the price tag.

I have been working with Jo weekly for a year, following the birth of my second child and breakdown in body confidence. Jo has worked with me to significantly increase my strength and fitness and changed my outlook on body confidence for the better. She coaches me along side entertaining my toddler (and occasionally a young child). She holds great knowledge of postpartum recovery and family nutrition. I was going to have Jo for a few weeks, one year old and i'm not stopping...

One to one training with Jo is really working for me. Fitness and weight loss is a long term process and I’m someone who would have given up without ongoing support. I feel lighter, leaner, more energetic and really motivated. Jo is professional and consistent and I really enjoy working with her.
