I took a few phones I had sitting around the house into uberphone for various services.- fix white screen problem with iphone4- unlock iphone 5- factory reset iphone 4Unberfone quoted me £100 to unlock the iphone5. I found this excessive. They explained that they priced the unlocking service based on the potential resale value of the unlocked iphone. Alarm bells were ringing when they were securing the initial quote...needless to say I didn't accept their quote and the service on offerI left them with two of the three phones. They gave us quotes and told us they could service the phones in 1 hour. Ordinarily we would not get them to factory reset a phone (which was passcode lcoked), but as they offered an hourly service, we elected to pay them £20. For me that was again excessive, but it would mean we would have a working operational phone whilst in town.We took off for about 90 minutes, giving them more time to service the phones. We returned and they said that they had not started the work yet. They could not factory reset one of the phones as they said it had to be 50% charged before they could work on it. We established that the phone was flat when we initially dropped it off. They apologised and said the phones would definitely be ready for us the following day (Sunday 12th April). We agreed.When I returned on Sunday, I expected to pay for the white screening resolution and to walk away with two working phones. They still had not started to work on one of the phones and they said that the other required another 18% additional charge in the battery before they could perform the factory reset. I felt I was being spun a few yarns here.I told them that I had to go, and expressed my disappointment with their service and in particular with the commitments they had made. I had already paid for one of the services, but they couldn't even manage to charge the phone despite having the phone in their possession for 24 hours. I asked them to return my phones and issue a refund.At this point they refused to return my money, saying that I had not paid them for any of the services. I then produced a receipt. On top of the poor service, wasted trip into town and being accused of not paying, I was quite aggravated and expressed this to them. They started blaming other colleagues for not completing the job and told me that a female assistant took payment from me but had not informed anyone. I told them they were all representatives of uberfone and that I was not interested in how they assigned work internally.They then became very aggressive and told me to take my phones and my money and get out of the shop.Needless to say I will not be returned to uberfone.

Called in this morning before work to grab a screen protector, Josh was so helpful and was able to take the old one off and put the new one on for me. Will definitely be back here in the future. Thanks

went in to get a battery replacement which was fine and a reasonable price in all fairness, that was fine, but the woman hands my phone back and there’s a giant crack going down it that definitely wasn’t there before. then as i put in my headphones the music i’m listening to isn’t playing through my headphones, and after trying another pair that use the headphone jack and one that uses the lightening port figured that the issue was with the jack, bearing in mind that it was fully functional before i got my replacement battery. so i go back to the store to inquire and the donkey at the counter tries to tell me that it’s nothing to do with them even though it’s quite clear that it’s down to them, and refuses to accept responsibility for what’s happened, so now i’m left with a non-functional headphone jack and a giant crack going down my screen. absolutely livid and have no intention of ever going back to them for any sort of repair jobs.

Told my phone would be unlocked in 3/4 days. Phoned them a week later as it was still locked on the other carrier. Was told it takes 10 days and I wouldnt or shouldn't have been told otherwise. I could swear this was the same guy I was talking to in the shop, on the phone too.Its now been over 2 week. 15 days and for something I could have done myself for free but paid for the apparant simpleness and quickness they promised...im still waiting.

On the off chance walked into there shop as I had problems with my phone. As I was born pregnant PC mark talked me through the process making it easy for me to follow. This was one of my best experiences of shopping in newry customer service at it's best
