***FOLLOW UP***We find it disappointing to see that Lars Margo have pinned our review as 'FAKE' It isn't. Its honest. As we said before, the service and attitude given to us was disgraceful and through their lack of experience and arrogance have put us off ever buying their coffee again. Would still never recommend. Sorry Yet AgainWe decided to give Lars Margo a go, however the coffee doesn't live upto what it suggests especially for the price. The 1 star review however is mostly down to bad customer service and an unfriendly welcome we received from the lady. Its nice to see roasters in Cornwall but not something we would recommend here. Sorry :(

I am lucky for many reasons and one of them is that I live in the same Cornish town that Lars and Margo roast the best beans I have tasted.What do you get from this family company? Knowledge, passion, enthusiasm for good coffee and a superb experience in tasting the greatest small batch quality beans which are roasted to perfection.Lars and Margo are our default.

Had lots of fun doing a Lars&Margo taste test.The contenders were:001 Espresso Blend00B Brazilian Single Estate00P Peruvian Single Estate00S Sumatran Single Estate00E Etheopian Organic Single EstateEspresso was a little bitter for me, the others were all lovely but my favourite two were the Sumatran and Ethiopian.As I love Latte, I then tried them with milk and that let the Ethiopian roast take the crown. It was smooth with a beautiful almost fruity rich aftertaste. Yum!!I highly recommend Lars and Margo (especially if you're in Cornwall). They're also very lovely folks to deal with and we're really helpful when I was emailing them about a sub.

Fantastic coffee from Lars and Margo. I often visit the roastery where I always receive a warm welcome. Very knowledgeable and always willing to offer advice. I’m so glad that we have such great tasting coffee locally.

Lars & Margo produce the most deliciously roasted coffee from carefully sourced beans, offering a great variety of flavour profiles and regions to explore, all at very reasonable prices. We've been drinking their coffee for over a year now (filter, french press and mokka pot) and it always feels special. Add to that the fact that founders Peter and Mandy are the most wonderful, helpful and kind people and you have a real gem of a small business. We stock their coffees in our bakery shop, but I wanted to leave this review from a personal perspective as their coffee brings me so much joy :)

This is the best coffee! I absolutely love my regular visits to the roastery to stock up on coffee beans. Lars & Margo is such a great little business, run by a lovely, enthusiastic and welcoming couple who really know their coffee and take great care to get things right for their customers. There are often new coffees to try and it's great to learn a bit about the farmers and where the coffees come from. They are also doing lots of things to be as sustainable as possible (I take advantage of the 10% discount for refills by taking my own jars in). I always leave the roastery with a smile on my face, as well as some fantastic coffee. The only bad thing I can say is that all other coffee now tastes a bit rubbish...

Absolute fantastic business serving quality coffee at a great price. First time visiting the business which was easy to find and park and very welcoming atmosphere. Will recommend it to anyone looking for quality coffee at an affordable price.
