Dermot was the only one in the Southampton area who would do a transmission service on my BMW 530D F11. The gear changes are now silky smooth. I have been using this garage on a regular basis for all my BMW service and repairs. Would definitely recommend.

A good reason to buy a BMW, I have had an x6 for 7 years had a couple of faults and they have been swiftly dealt with at a modest price. Now with 118k, the last full service and vehicle check were very reasonable and professional. You are dealing with the owners of the business and people that know what they are doing. Say no more

Just asked for a simple qoute for discs pads to be changed couldn't be bothered to even ring back or answer an email take bussiness else where.

Great job sorting my air con in my mini

The team diagnosed the long term issue with my car, ordered the replacement part and it fitted a week later. Car performance is now as good as new. The guys did a great job working with my warranty provider to ensure I could claim some expense against the warranty. Would recommend for any BMW owner, very friendly and helpful staff.

I have a BMW 520d and I looked at the reviews for this garage, because they were good and the garage is close to home I thought I would give them a try for my main service. I popped in and got a price from them then for one reason or another I couldn't get the service done so I popped back about three weeks later to get it booked in, I asked for a price again and I was quoted £50 more than before, when I queried it he said oh I thought it was the 530d then reduced the quote to £10 more than before so I booked it in. I also informed him that the brakes needed attention as I had brake judder and he wrote that down in the diary as well and asked me to get the car there at 8am so they could get both jobs done. I asked if he needed the registration number and he said no as we keep the parts in stockI dropped the car off at 8am on the day of the service, at lunchtime I had a call to say the car was ready, I asked if they had done the brakes and I was told no because they would have to order the parts in!!! I said I would come and pick the car up and could they give me a quote for the brakes.I picked the car up and theprovided me with a quote for discs and pads all round, I queried that and said surely I only need front or rear as not all the discs would have warped but they told me I needed all 4 done at a cost of nearly a thousand pounds. I got home and went on Partridge BMW (Main Dealer) website and their quote was £110 cheaper for the same job.I work at a main dealer (not BMW) and asked the Technicians if I need to replace all 4 discs and pads and the resounding answer was no, they put my car on a rolling road which indicated the front disc had warped and I only needed to replace the fronts. I have now had this done by BMW and the car is perfect once again.It's a shame because I was a new customer to Bartley and would have used them for all the jobs on my car in the future but now I have the impression they are not interested in new customers and keeping them on their books they are more interested in making a one off maximum profit, I have been put off from using them againI cannot recommend them!

Top guys!My F56 Mini Cooper S had Air Con issues, put simply, the pump was not activating. Through the whole process I was kept updated and nothing was too much trouble. The guys are great and now my Air Con blows ice cold and is in perfect working order! My car was given back to me very clean and tidy and as if nothing ever happened. Top work! Highly recommend!

Our business used Bartley Garage to undertake some investigation and subsequent repairs on a BMW X5 2015 we recently sold which was suffering from a coolant leak and a suspension issue. I've had several services and repairs at Bartley and the staff have always very helpful and knowledgeable, and explain problems clearly and simply. I've never had any issues with them and I trust them as much as you can trust a garage!However I have only been able to use a courtesy car once in my car's five or so all day or overnight visits to the garage- a bit annoying when it's a bit of a trek from the train station both at home and in Totton!
