Excellent experience ordering a plaque from this company. Helpful, quick to reply, no faff, and a superbly crafted stainless steel plaque (marine grade for outdoor use) on a beautiful oak plinth. Great product, great value, will use again.

We asked Dave to provide a brass memorial plaque for my late father to put on the house he built in France. Dave did an amazing and highly professional job. Our first experience with SK Signs could not be faulted: the service was great, goods were received in timely manner and the condition was as described.When it came to our second requirement, there was no reason why we wouldn’t return to SK Signs. Again the service from Amanda was pleasant – she mentioned in advance of shipment that Royal Mail were experiencing some problems, so to expect a small delay, which we agreed would be fine.However, our order didn’t arrive at all – after chasing a couple of times, it was announced as lost in transit. When we requested that another sign be sent out to us, we were told by another colleague that as they were already running at a loss for our order, unless we would pay the – almost £10 – cost of redelivery, they would not re-make and re-ship it.Whilst lost income due to Royal Mail is obviously dreadful for a business, it’s rather cheeky to try and recoup these losses from the customer.The tone of the last email I received was defensive, blaming me for selecting Royal Mail as the delivery company! We will not be ordering from SK Signs again.

Excellent service. Used SK Signs for a rush job for a Rail Industry show. They made a show" WigWag sign to scale

I've only given 1 star because it won't let you give less. After many weeks of chasing I've given up. I used S.K. Signs before and found it to be a difficult journey but they've got worse. I'll admit that I was a slow payer last time but they were slow to do the job so I was slow to pay. Because of this, this time they asked for payment up front so I agreed to pay before the work was done.The first contact for this job for them to vinyl-letter a pick up truck was about 12 weeks ago. They have promised to send over a mock up a few times, they have put back the fitting date many times. After many broken promises to provide mock-ups and many missed completion dates I've decided to go elsewhere......anywhere else.EDIT: After seeing Daves reply I have had a look back through my records. The last time I used him it took him from February to June (5 months) to actually complete on the order - again, after many, many missed deadlines. Thats why I didn't pay him in a timely manner. He asked why did I go back to him if I wasn't satisfied last time. The answer is simple, he had done the work on my previous truck, Its called misplaced loyalty.
