Sarah Evans Makeup Artist

Sarah is phenomenal!!! She did makeup for my bridesmaids, mum and I for my wedding in September at Notley Abbey and made us all feel so amazing. All of my bridesmaids absolutely loved how she did their makeup (without a trial)- which I've never heard of before! She also is so fun and laid back she helped make the whole morning feel relaxed and easy! Thank you Sarah xxx

Sarah was wonderful throughout the whole process, from the trial to the big day. She made me and my bridal party feel so beautiful, and our make-up stayed on all day/night. She wasn’t just a make-up artist but also provided a helping hand when it came to getting dressed. I 100% recommend her for your big day!

Sarah did my bridal make up for my wedding day. I had a trial prior to the day which was fab. Sarah couldn't have helped more and had great advice. On the day she was superb and fit so well in the group, we were sad when she left!

Best make up artist on the world. Sarah has huge experience and is very much in demand. She did the makeup at my wedding (my wife and bridesmaids) and has since done the makeup for many friends and family weddings.She is a lovely lady who is always smiling and chatty. Sarah refused to do my wedding makeup when she realised she was doing my bridesmaids, mums and flower girls and not the bride, despite me making this clear. She would still have had 6 make ups to do on the morning, and I had told her about having a second make up artist due to the quantity of girls and short timeframe.She then cancelled, as she said she could earn more by doing a different bridal party. Her response was very unfriendly and she clearly only cared about the money, rather than the stress this would cause myself whilst planning the wedding day.As cancelling was her choice, she promised to refund my deposit. After chasing her 4 times, she finally responded and said that she cannot afford to refund my deposit anymore. This was quite shocking to me, so I messaged a couple of times further asking for my deposit and letting her know she had left me no choice but to post a review - she did not respond to me. An appalling attempt at running a business, and very unreliable.I certainly wouldn’t want to risk using her on the morning of my wedding when she can’t even afford to return a £50 deposit or reply to my messages. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for a make up artist that is reliable and truly cares about you, not just the money.

Sarah was absolutely brilliant! I can't recommend her highly enough.From the first email I sent I have received very friendly and efficient communication.On the wedding day I felt so relaxed as I was in safe hands, I knew I could trust her. My bridesmaids loved their make up, and even my mum (who doesn't like to have any make up) changed her mind and had her make up done. She was very pleased with her look.Sarah was so helpful in general with the morning preparation, everything was on time and perfect!Thank you Sarah so much!

I am so happy I found Sarah to do my Bridal Party make up for my wedding in August. I know nothing about make up and always wear bare minimum, Sarah put me at ease with her friendly nature and chatter and found exactly the right balance for me. On the day it was like having a friend there while getting ready. Everyone looked gorgeous and the make up lasted all day, even though it was a very warm day! Sarah was brilliant! Make up looked stunning for my wedding and so did all my bridal party. I also had a spray tan too which I loved and looked great - something I don't regularly do. Our make up all lasted the entire day and her service is fantastic, so helpful getting to the venue and very organised. Highly recommend!

Amazing wedding makeup!Sarah did my makeup and my bridesmaid’s makeup for my wedding in July 19 and she was amazing. She was so lovely and chatty and made me feel right at ease from the first time I met her at the trial. You can tell she enjoys what she does and did not leave my trial until I was 100% happy with my makeup. On the day, she was amazing, helping keep me calm and helping out when needed. I was so happy with my makeup, and had so many compliments about it. Sarah was so bubbly and fun and we all had such a lovely morning together before the wedding. If I need my makeup done again in the future, I would love to have Sarah do it! She really is amazing and so knowledgeable about what she does!
