Being both a keen runner and cyclist himself, Jacob was able to pinpoint my issues and treat my weaknesses. He is thorough and incredibly helpful explaining in detail exercises to help me return to full fitness. I'd recommend a visit before your pain begins or injury worsens.

Was on holiday in Keswick. Had a problem with my Shoulder which I have had before and seen a Physio for before. Jacob was great, incredibly knowledgeable, spent loads of time diagnosing me and working on the problem. Now I have exercises and it already feels much better and have a much better understanding of what’s been happening. Can’t recommend him highly enough. Just need him to move to Manchester now :)

I have been visiting Jacob on and off for 8-9 months and have seen massive inprovements in my lower back and legs which i have had trouble with for many years. Jacob is friendly, very welcoming and professional and this is apparent as soon as you meet him, and his knowledge of his work puts you at ease instantly. I would highly reccomend Tonkin Massage Therapies to anyone with sports related problems or even long term problems. He has also started to do massage on a large facial scar that i have and am pleased with the progress we are making.

I would highly recommend Tonkin Massage Therapies. I have struggled with lower back problems for the past 5 years, and after seeing Jacob things are finally improving. His treatments have made a huge difference and I'll definitely keep returning to him for more help. Following a serious leg/ankle injury I consulted Jacob regarding persistent soft tissue problems that were affecting my running. I was highly impressed by his level of knowledge and ability to explain things clearly and thoroughly. He offers a friendly and professional service and I came away feeling positive that my running will improve with future appointments.
