My daughter recently purchased a car from Motorpoint Birtley. She popped in to have a look on the spur of the moment & came away with a 3 year old Audi A3 in lovely grey metallic with 12000 miles on the clockShe didn't think she could afford it but thanx to Kimberley got the deal done.I asked her about the car after she had it 6 weeks & told me she loves it.

Bought my second car from motorpoint last week with the help of Kimberly and Megan. Thank you Kimberly for helping me find my dream next car and making the process smooth and thank you to Megan for sorting out the hand over process :)

Called in yesterday, as a potential repeat customer. Deeply disappointed, asked to look at a hybrid car, it was flat, with the salesman stating “if they sit for more than 2 weeks they go flat”.Once into the car, strong smell of smoke and no sign of the salesman. Unable to test drive, ask questions etcI left. No sale or purchase. Customer service is severely lacking. Will take my hard earned money elsewhere

Pressure sales. Car on display with a flat battery and staff knew nothing about the model. Made an offer for my car, but would increase it by £600 if I bought in the next couple of days, and if I bought that day they “would throw something else in “.Pressure sales at its worst and I can’t recommend buying from them.

Went in to the Birtley branch to buy my partners first car after passing his test and this whole experience has ruined it. We got a car for him and literally on the way home from motorpoint the clutch kept sticking and we had to pull over. Spoke to motorpoint and asked us to bring the car back to them and they’d fix it. Over a week of waiting for the car to be fixed we’ve had constant promises of callbacks etc and yet my partner has been the one having to ring them and waiting on hold for 30-60 minutes at a time. When we did get through we asked for compensation due to the fact we’ve been sold a car that was dangerous to drive and we were met with the horrendous reply of: “well we are already replacing the part of a gesture of goodwill we could have just left you to sort it seen as you have signed the contract already” SHOCKING!!! We’ve now decided to pull out of the contract and spend our money elsewhere. Overall this dealership do not do the proper checks on cars as a colleague there told us they just do a tick box exercise on the cars they receive they don’t even test drive them(funny how he also mentioned another woman who had just bought a car from them and brought it in 3 times since to support this as well!), they can’t give you any vehicle diagnostic breakdowns if you wanted to know what they’ve checked/ what they’ve done due to the fact its done on an app??Horrendous customer service telling us they're fixing a car they’ve just sold us as a gesture of goodwill despite the fact i know that they aren’t following trading standards if they don’t! And finally, don’t believe for a second that they care the minute you’ve signed that contract because their customer service has got to be the worst i have EVER encountered. I was once a loyal customer and bought my last 3 cars from this branch but i assure you i will never be coming back and nor will my partner

Partner bought car from here stating full service history. They cannot provide full service history and apparently the only thing they can do is give a free service. Do not buy from here

Brilliant service from lee no pushy salesman talk he left us to decide ourselves about what cars were available also asked if we wanted the one we were interested in brought down near the sales room even though there was a huge thunderstorm going on outside. We were given coffee and it was such a relaxed atmosphere definitely recommend here if your looking for good service
