Stuart was fabulous when photographing our wedding reception. So easy to work with, really friendly and unobtrusive. Beautiful photographs - he listened to what we wanted and worked his magic. Would highly recommend.

Stuart is a fantastic photographer and we could not be happier with the experience that we’ve had with him from the beginning to the end. We live in London and contacted quite a few photographers before finally booking Stuart after FaceTiming him. He was extremely friendly and an absolute star on our wedding day. He captured all the moments without being intrusive and we felt completely at ease and comfortable as he worked away in the background. All my guests loved him and he is able to put people together quickly for group photos. He knew our wedding venue very well and set up brilliant photos including lots of beautiful ones of us rowing in Loch Awe. He is an expert in astrophotography as well and gave us the most beautiful photo of us underneath the starry sky.We would absolutely recommend booking Stuart as a wedding photographer, he is just simply top class!

My wife and I carefully researched wedding photographers and decided to hire Stuart (Bound by Light) for our engagement and wedding photos. My wife's father is a professional photographer, and so our expectations were high. Stuart exceeded those expectations and then some!From the beginning, Stuart made us feel comfortable and at ease, developing the easy rapport required for natural looking pictures. For our engagement photos, he knew the right spots to go to and the right times to be there, resulting in great light and stunning backdrops.In addition to wedding photography, Stuart has a passion for astral photography (starry skies, etc) and the cherry on the cake for our engagement photos was a beautiful picture of the two of us on an old bridge lit by the stars of the milky way. A magical shot that few other wedding photographers could have captured!At the wedding, Stuart worked tirelessly to capture every element from casual preparations (including a walk in the venue's grounds), to the bride in her dress, to another unique picture of the two of us silhouetted against a fiery sunset. He even waded out into a thigh-deep river to get the perfect shot. The quality of all the photos was exceptional, and we got more than anyone has any right to expect. Stuart is a brilliant photographer, really relaxed and knew how to get the best out of everyone to create the perfect pictures. He was very flexible, taking pictures of the bridal party in a tractor (pre-ceremony) and taking some more pictures of us in the evening when the light was good.
