Very busy in the store, very helpful and most things in stock as this is the distribution centre. Nice and easy to park, prefer to go to this store than the one in Brighton which is closer to where I live. Will use again. Bought a cycle helmet, lock and handle grips. The handle grips were missing a bolt, called the store and they said we have to take the item back as it would be quicker than sending a bolt out!!!

I would like to praise the team working at the shop for their technical knowledge and support. Especially the Polish gentleman /technician and Chris. Chris's approach to the customer service is exceptional. Not only he found time to explain to my elderly friend everything about modern day bikes and shown her several matching her models but he straightened my rear derailleur hanger for free. He refused any financial gratification also. Thank you Chris. New loyal customer.

I came into Evans cycles last week to purchase a new bike with no clue on what I wanted to get. Walking around the shop looking at bikes I thought looked pretty, the manager Jack advise me on what bike suited me properly and what was best for my size. He was very efficient and knowledgable and made me feel very happy and confident with my purchase! Very good help customer service and one very happy customer! Thanks so much jack & your team!

Not overly happy with the warehouse staff for the delivery of my new bike came in a box as promised. Wasn't told when it was being delivered.Once I got it out the box there was dirty hand marks all over it.According to website they set the bike up so u don't have too. Well I don't think that is the case.Took my new bike to shop today with my list of faults and issues and damage.Little bit of a wait to speak to the manager.But I have to say Chris the manager was excellent.his professional manner and attitude was a 110%.The shop mechanics did a great job sorting out the bike plus it came back with no dirty hand marks. I will definitely be going back.

Massive thanks to Andy for helping me today when I had to return a faulty item, restored my faith in bike shops a great deal.Can’t fault the customer service here one bit !I occasionally buy items from Evans online as they often do great deals but it’s also handy to just go into a shop sometimes.I would highly recommend this shop based on my own experiences.Plenty of parking when i was there. Wasn’t busy.

I was due to leave on an extended cycle tour and the expected online purchases for front panniers and rack, to supplement the back panniers I already had, were delayed in arriving so immediate replacements were urgently needed before I had to leave London. After a very helpful phone enquiry response I travelled to the Evans Gatwick branch where I purchased a front pannier rack and 2 front panniers. They were the only cycle store stocking this particular type of front rack amongst the many I had visited or had rung within the previous 24 hrs. The assistant was very polite, patient and helpful, and guided me through the ordering process, which was quick and efficient. Despite the sole mechanic on duty that day being fully booked up with workshop appointments, one of the staff very kindly offered to fit out the carrier himself and to do it immediately. I have never struck such considerate service before. He needed to research the attachment configuration since the instructions (reinforced by other frustrated reviewers of the product) were woefully inadequate. The finished job, rack and panniers soundly attached, were just what I wanted and needed and I was thoroughly delighted with the prompt care and attention that was given to my bike, especially as the busy staff were under no obligation to do the fitting at all. I am so impressed with the service at this branch of Evans Cycles and would recommend them to everyone needing bicycle or accessory purchases, or repairs.

5* Service and Staff from the initial phone call and stock check with Julie who booked the bike to be built to the end.It was ready for when I turned up so no problems.When arriving I was greeted by George T (moustache guy) his customer service was fantastic, bike knowledge exceptional and people skills second to none. He made sure the bike was set up perfectly for my size and body position while on the bike at first by eye and upon my return from the test ride in the car park.George T made buying the aero road bike a really a fantastic experience and hopefully when it’s time for another bike I can buy it from George again.

This review is only due to Customer Service or complete lack of.I have an 10 year old Pinnacle bike bought from Wandsworth Evans. With a lifetime frame warranty.Upon adding wide tyres it apparent apparent that the rear wheel was misaligned in the frame.Contact Customer Service - take into local store.Taken into local store (Crawley)Warranty refused, agreed the frame was misaligned but due to me reporting too late declined.Workshop were great, apologies from them, unable to give detail just relay message. Told to try customer service to discuss.Contact customer service again explaining story to date.Told that I need to go back to store I purchased from.Told them this was closed.Told to take to local store as head office cannot comment.Told them Crawley was local store.Asked them for contact from warranty team to discuss?Asked them for frame warranty exclusions?Ignored.From the start I outlined I was not after a refund or exchange. But options under frame warranty.Emily who I dealt with never did anything other than repeatedly reply with options that tried to pass the problem elsewhere. And then ignored me.So disappointed - on the basis of after sales support from head office I would never buy from Evans again and recommend you do not do the same.No ownership of problems, no willingness to even have a discussion. Hide behind emails, no phone contact.Support local bike shops, same stock but they care!

I’ve been to the Gatwick store twice now. The first time I went to collect a bike bought online for my son and was assisted by Neil who was really helpful and assisted me in selecting accessories and advised me on the best value for money options available in the online sale. The advantage of this branch is that it’s adjacent to the warehouse and therefore you can view online in stock items within minutes.Inspired by a couple of cycle rides with my son and his new bike, I returned to the store today where I was ably assisted by Julie B in selecting a bike to purchase through my employer’s cycle to work scheme. Julie greeted me with a smile and “can I help you” and then showed me various bikes in my price range allowing me to try them for size and weigh up the benefits.I believe some of the less favourable reviews of this store relate to the online arm of the business based next door or are from some time ago.

Just to say a massive thank you to all the team at Evan's cycle's Gatwick. Andy Lulham and Katey Warren what a team and a credit to Evan's, we had a warranty issue and between them they got my son back on a bike ASAP. I can't thank them enough and we will definitely be purchasing our next bikes from Evan's. Keep up the good work guys. Also would highly recommend the Trek 2019 Fuel EX5, a great full suspension MTB for the money.
