Steve and his team were ever helpful in what was a less than straightforward installation. They responded to messages and calls quickly and always did what they said they would when they said they would. Verry reliable company. I phoned up because my acorn stairlift had broken down. they turned up within an hour and fixed it. then I was able to get upstairs again. And it only cost me the call out fee to which I am truly greatful. Thank you all for being polite and so very helpful . Barry

Right from first making contact Anglia Stairlifts have been so helpful. All our worries and questions were answered and an order was placed. Within the week Lee arrived to fit our lift. Again all questions were answered and we were given a full briefing. We now have a super lift that has made such a difference.Brilliant, no mess and super service.

I contacted Anglia Stairlifts regarding the repair of a through-floor lift, installed by another supplier. The Director, Phil, could not have been more helpful, and went out of his way to facilitate the speedy (& very economical) repair of the lift. I will certainly use them again if needed & can wholeheartedly recommend them

AVOID!! Absolute shocking behaviour dealing with vulnerable people. Didn't fix the issue & demanding further money.(new management??)1. My 88 year old Mum's stairlift had an intermittent problem & was stopping half-way up the stairs making it very dangerous2. I explained the issue to Anglia stairlifts & agreed that they do a service to fix the problem at a cost of £1403. I specified that that the invoice should be sent to me as I would pay online4. The technician attended on time & did the service. He ticked the boxes on the worksheet to say all was working ok but insisted that my mother pay immediately & took her bank card details!5. The stairlift continued to fail6. I called Anglia - no answer. I emailed them & someone called me back from their personal mobile (& asked me not to use this number to contact the business) & they said the technician would return AT NO CHARGE as it was a follow-up visit7. Technician attended - declared nothing wrong with stairlift & insisted my mother paid £150 call out charge. Fortunately my mother was well enough to contact me & I spoke to the technician explaining that I was told there was no call out charge (if I had been told there may be & it would be £150 we would not have agreed). He demanded we pay & said his manager was a different one to the one I spoke to. I refused & said his manager need to contact me8. The stairlift continued to fail9. Anglia Stairlifts then embarked on a series of emails demanding payment & insisting that the stairlift was fine & that they had done the service correctly & therefore we were liable for the call-out charge (the one that I had not been informed of!). They tell me they are sending it to their credit claims agency!10. The intermittent problem still exists making the stairlift dangerousI have found most local business very helpful & reasonable in providing support for my elderly mother. But not Anglia Stairlifts.

There was no pressure selling, just knowledgeable advice to assist in the choice of the most suitable stair lift.The installation was done, efficiently and left clean and tidy.

I would like to thank all the staff for the great service I received on a recent stair lift installed for my father and highly recommended them .After a phone call to them they came out explained all the options (great chap) there was no pressure just honest advice after agreeing the best option he measured up there was a couple of calls from them to keep me updated and within 2 working days was installed by a great guy on time explained everythingReally is so easy. And all at a great priceIf I could give anyone needing one a bit of advice use these guys could not faultIf you choose the big name firms that you see in the Sunday paper you may be paying £££ if not ££££ more.Many thanks all at anglia stairliftsDave borrett

Sold my terminally ill Dad a stairlift for £1300. When he past away a month later we tried to sell it back to them and they refused to take it (even though they deal in second hand lifts). I then had some advice from another stairlift company who advised we could’ve had a brand new one for £1250 and that we were well and truly ripped off. Taking advantage. Don’t use.

My daughter ordered a stairlift from another supplier for my disabled husband and it failed after only 4 weeks. Anglia sent one of their engineers to fix it and after he had thoroughly examined it we realised that she had been lied to about its age and condition. Anglia sold and refitted another stairlift for him and refitted the rail properly on the stairs. I now have peace of mind that it won't stop half way up the stairs! A very good company and we would recommend.
