I love my new hair- got a foliage/highlights done and a haircut which turned out absolutely beautiful! Can’t recommend enough! Amber was so knowledgeable and friendly; she knew what was best for my hair and did a fantastic job, thank you!

Evie and the Salon provided an amazing experience. Evie's hairstyling skills were exceptional, delivering meticulous attention to detail. The salon was clean, welcoming, and had a friendly atmosphere. Evie offered magazines to keep me entertained. The staff was helpful and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable visit. I have been coming here for roughly 2 years (maybe a little bit more) and the hairdresser I see is Lucy for both haircuts and highlights.I refuse to go to anybody else because my hair can be problematic and we always find a middle ground to get to the goals that I would like.Lucy is very understanding, patient and does a fantastic job in getting my hair to look how I'd like.I know from visiting here so many times, that other hairdressers in this salon do fantastic jobs too!I highly recommend here.

Had a wonderful cut with Amber today. My hair was getting quite long and annoying so had a good amount cut whilst I was visiting friends in Norwich. Amber was so friendly and accommodating and did a wonderful and quick job with my hair. Very pleased with the length and it looks great! Thank you to the salon and Amber! :)

I feel bad for doing a two star review because this is not about the hairdressers work… This is about the establishment and an incident that happened to my mother in law whilst there. Someone took her coat by mistake, we hope. One of the hairdressers handed it over to her client as they were both the same make… What followed was my mother in law having to sit for 4 hours with no coat, for them to locate the culprit. She was made to feel like a complete nuisance and inconvenience to all… No one wanted to accept fault… However, this happened in your establishment and therefore you are liable. This was her first time visiting the salon, and she was only in the UK for one week. I recommended this place as I had a good experience… For which is now tainted. I’m writing this review in the hope that you will change your system and not allow people to take just anyone’s coat. There are no signs saying at your own peril, leave your belongings etc and I think this would be a good amendment or each Hairdresser has a coat stand for their own clients… Most importantly, kindness goes a long way… she was not regularly updated with what was going on and offered no form of compensation. She felt like you all just wanted her to leave. I understand it’s close to Christmas And everyone was busy, but this is basic customer service when you own a business to treat people with respect. I believe there was one kind Male Hairdresser, who shared some kind words of, “I’m sorry this is happening to you”. To him, she was grateful. But as we returned today to collect the coat, once everything had been sorted…(long story) We were greeted again with faces of inconvenience and absolutely no apology… We are not local to Norwich, so had to travel to collect the coat… These things happen, but a little kindness And accountability would have made her feel much better about the situation, which was incredibly inconvenient for her too.In response to your reply… firstly, thank you for acknowledging her situation and feelings towards what happened and as I said, I understand you own a busy establishment. I believe her friend wrote to Facebook asking for advice… She and I were unaware. However they both felt helpless in the situation…But I think it’s clear feelings are personal and I’m glad for your future clients that amendment’s have already been implemented. Human Error can happen. All the best and thank you again for your professional response.

I had the most amazing experience at the Barry Alan Hair Salon.My hair needed a revamp and i was overly impressed with the results.The quality in products and the salon itself I couldn't of asked for more.All the staff are very happy and content making it a great place to visit.I definitely recommend, I'll be visiting for a trim and toner before XMAS!

I always have a great experience at Barry Alan. Leah is fantastic, and I have received many compliments on my hair after visiting the salon! She is very patient and really listens to what you want. I can’t recommend Barry Alan and Leah highly enough!

Daughter went here beginning g of sept 2023, she has long brown wavy hair, was cut oddly with a wedge in it half way up, which she was ridiculed for at school. She is upset with this cut and I have had to smooth out the weird wedge myself. It looked great when she left the hair dressers but once washed it was not what she expected

Really great experience. Visiting Norwich for a wedding and Barry Alan salon was recommended to me. I was 15 minutes late to the appointment as I got lost and the staff were so accommodating and understanding. Hair curled and it’s fabulous, very inexpensive too! Would highly recommend :)

Went yesterday to get a bob haircut by Lauren, great attention to detail, really love my hair now as it was flat and dry before. Highly recommend Barry Alan salon for anyone looking for a quality haircut at a good price.
