Hebridean Inn
The only unfortunate part of our stay at the inn was that the restaurant was not open during our stay. There are other great food options in town too so it didn't phase us much but we would have loved the opportunity to eat at the restaurant. The rooms were very nice and kept very clean. Our room, as I believe they all do, had a spectacular view overlooking the neighboring loch. We greatly enjoyed our stay, I would highly recommend.

After a long walk on the island with friends we cleaned ourselves up and found the nearest eatery. This was the Hebridean Inn. As walk-ins, after a warm welcome and drinks, we were told there would be a short delay till we could order our food. At the time we were told, our server appeared to take our orders, shortly thereafter, two beef shin, one venison steak and some beautiful scallops arrived. Apologies for no photos but we were hungry. All I can say is we all ate and drank ourselves very happy. Look forward to eating here again soon!Ps cant comment on rooms as we didn't stay there

I'm a travel writer and I've stayed at a lot of hotels. The Hebridean Inn is the kind of gem you almost want to keep to yourself because it's that good. We stayed for two nights in the double room with a sea view (definitely opt for the view!). The owner, who grew up on the island, has an eye for design and we loved the thoughtful touches, like the binoculars and wellies. It has the charm of a small B&B with the kinds of amenities you'd get from a luxury hotel—the best of both worlds. Originally, we had planned to stay closer to Portree, but I found this area to be much calmer and more enjoyable. The perfect homebase for exploring the Isle of Skye!

Perfect 5☆ stay for us. Staff are amazing, friendly and attentive. Food is beautiful, not to be missed. Our room was clean and spacious, with a gorgeous view over the Loch. The Hebridean inn is a gem and we'd definitely stay again when visiting Skye.

This was my favourite place I stayed in throughout all of Scotland.Service- impeccable. Each and every staff member we encountered at the Inn were friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic about making our stay better. Even service in the restaurant was wonderful.Location- this is only a short ride outside of Portree. If you’re looking to be IN the big tourist destination, this may not be the best option for you. But if you’re looking to get out of the hustle and bustle and into a small and cozy inn, this is it! Not to mention they have water view rooms, AND gum boots in most sizes for you to go exploring out in the mud flat outside of the hotel. This was such a surprise and a super fun activity!Rooms- phenomenal! We booked a double and Queen sea room, as they unfortunately were out of a 2nd queen room. We were simply able to push the two double together. The queen room was spacious, and the double room was the size of a standard hotel room in the USA. They both had walk in showers, towel warmers, and everything was updated and decorated tastefully.The breakfasts that were included with our room price were delicious and started each morning off right. We also ate in the restaurant the first evening we were here, which was equally as delicious. Couldn’t recommend more!Thank you to the whole team at the Hebridean Inn for such a lovely stay! We will be back during our next trip to Scotland, and will be recommending for all family and friends to stay here.

I didn't stay at the hotel but I did eat at the restaurant. The waitress is lovely and super friendly. I had the venison which was amazing along with all the additonal bits featured. My compliments go to the venison but the chef as well because everything was a treat for the taste buds. I'd go again!

We absolutely enjoyed our short stay at Hebridean Inn. Amazing location facing the bay and delicious food at the restaurant. The staff was super nice and helpful, the room was small, but we already knew it when booked and was happy to find any lodging available at that point. I’d deffinately recommend this place for everyone exploring Isle of Sky or road-tripping Scottish Highlands.

The room was incredibly spacious and had several nice touches - binoculars and a bird spotting guide as well as wellies to explore the shoreline in low tide. The food was sooooo good we ended up eating dinner here both nights we were in Isle of Skye. Service was very kind. The only drawback is location. It’s very close to the bridge and so far from the sites and key hiking areas on the isle
