Kaplan Living Nottingham - Bromley Place

The accommodation is quite good actually. Lots of places to interact with new people, have fun and talk. The staff members are also friendly, and the rooms are pretty decent. The cost of the rooms is quite high, but the overall experience is good.

I arrived at Kaplan in early October. I had set up an appointment for moving some days prior and I was notified that my room was ready to move in a few hours later. I loved how quickly I was reassured that everything was taken care of.I had looked at some Google pictures of the residence and I was not expecting much. Although as soon I walked in, I was surprised at the modern feel the reception had. The receptionist was extremely sweet and welcoming. My room was noticeably clean and the student kit was set out for me on my table. Even though my room does not have a great view, it is an excellent size room for a college student. I have a private bathroom, desk, big bed, and enough closet space. I am very content.I use our shared kitchen quite often and it has all the necessities a student needs. It is however in the hands of the tenants to keep it clean, so everyone might have different luck. I am aware that if I encounter any difficulties or troubles regarding the kitchen or anything else, the staff members at Kaplan are eager to help.As a student studying in the UK for the first time, Kaplan's location is the best considering how close I am to the NTIC and how everything else is a short walking distance.The only thing that is frustrating sometimes during the school week is the elevators malfunctioning. However I tend to leave my dorm a couple minutes before I need to head out, which is not a problem.I am enjoying my stay at Kaplan and I believe it is a great accommodation for first year Nottingham students.

My son lives in this student accommodation and I would like to praise the friendly, reception staff for being so helpful and caring. Thank you all!

I really love living in Kaplan because it makes me comfortable. I really miss my home and Kaplan makes me feel like I’m being at home. It’s so warming to be able to be surrounded by people whom are so friendly and welcoming. There are many different activities that I can do like playing pool, ping pong, video games, board games and many more! I would never feel bored because of it and that it also a way for me to make new friends! Besides, there are also free food that I look forward to every Friday morning. The room and kitchen are also really big and well equipped so I would never feel like I’m missing out on anything. I’ve celebrated Halloween here and the pumpkin carving activity was my favourite! Lastly, Kaplan is located in the city centre which I find very convenient as I can get anything I need within reach. I enjoy creating memories here and I can’t wait to make even more memories <3

The place is not bad, it is in the city center, they have a cleaning team and they do different events for students. But during the period that I lived elevator was broken several times, and it was hard to get to my room. Also, wireless internet here is uncomfortable. The speed of the internet always “jumps” from low to high and vice versa. Several times it even was not working.

Amazing not one bad comment about the rooms or facilities 10/10After being offered a large sum of money to complete this review it was not exactly honestLifts never work and have been broken for weeks so having to walk up 20 flights of stairs everyday is not on and when asked when they will be fixed their response is unclearAswell as this place is constantly dirty and never clean. We get our kitchens cleaned once a week as stated in our contract and sometimes it is not cleaned for weeks . Would seriously consider living here

Good location with the worst night experience you can have,low requirement to take huge number of uneducated kids lack of self control to keep quiet make almost every night sleep to be extreme difficult and badly on the sleep quality.

I have really enjoyed my stay at Kaplan these past few months. The staff are friendly and ready to help give you answers when you are confused or need any clarification on anything. My room has a pretty big shower and is overall a lot bigger than other accomodation spaces. There isn't much floor space in my room but there is a great amount of under bed storage, and the desk is pretty big with a lot of space as well. There are two boards for posting pictures and what not on which is nice as well. The kitchen and laundry space are nice. I have never had to to wait more than two days for a maintenance request to be responded to. The only minor inconveniece was one of the elevators/lifts being down for about three months. Overall great place to stay in my opinion. Also a short walking distance from everywhere (Tescos, Poundland, Sainsburrys, KFC, McDonalds, Roosters piri piri, Five Guys, Victoria Centre, NTU, etc.).

When I arrived only 1 elevator was working, 14 floors shared 1 elevator. 2 months later the problem still hasn't been fixed. Kitchen is extremely dirty and one of the stove tops doesn't work. The room was extremely dirty when I arrived, dust all over the floor and hair on the curtains and bedsheets. The bathroom was the most dirty by far. There is a yellow outline on the flooring and everything else has watermarks. Some staff are very rude and get frustrated when I ask for help. Elevator takes 5 minutes to arrive.Forgot to mention: the key they gave us barely works, I have to try 5-10 times for it to usually work.

Staff are super helpful. And i enjoy the decorations in the building, especially this Christmas ones!
