Dress the Bride

AVOID AT ALL COST !! I brought my wedding dress in February 2022.Loved the dress. The woman who sold me the dress didn't tell me the dress was damaged didn't see this until tried the dress on again 2 weeks later . the was rips in the dress at the bottom of the zip there was beads coming away from the bodice. The zip was broken so I sent them an email stating all the faults that had been found i got a response from them telling me that they weren't going to help me with the repairs.Due to dress the bride being unwilling to help me I've had to pay £400 to have my dress repaired.Im really upset and disappointed that I've had to pay extra money to get the dress I want for my wedding day . if you want ur perfect dress go else where to avoid disappointment!!

I thought it would take me months to find my wedding dress, this was the third shop I tried and I'm so thankful I did! Sara was absolutely brilliant, so helpful and picked out a dress I wouldn't have thought of but ended up being the one! Great shop, lovely atmosphere, and can't beat the service or the prices.

I first reached out to Dress the Bride as they stock a designer that I was interested in but not the dress I was after. However, they were more than happy to order the dress on loan for me to try on at my appointment. There was a fee for this which I expected but was taken off my order.I found the online booking great and they don’t charge for the appointment which is fantastic because I noticed that a lot of places do.Now to the day of my appointment. What an experience it was, and that’s for everyone not just me.I hadn’t been very confident in myself so wasn’t expecting much from the appointment but I left feeling like a new person and excited for the big day.Firstly Sara was so so welcoming as was her colleague. The whole vibe was gorgeous, and the store itself.She had my ordered dress to one side but as I had planned we were well up for trying different dresses first to see how I felt.In the end I said ‘yes to the dress’ to the one I had ordered in but we had a great time experimenting and my family were bowled over with her care and had a beautiful afternoon.This was my first visit for dress shopping and I felt absolutely no need in trying anywhere else and ordered my dress and veil that day. That was just this weekend so I am awaiting delivery but wanted to give my thank you in the meantime as it was such a lovely experience.

Had a lovely experience at Dress the Bride with Rachael. First appointment (so far) to try different styles of dresses: she was super helpful with finding options, and making suggestions - and really made sure that everything fit as best as it could for my guests to be able to visualise. Also very clear about timescales for ordering dresses. Would highly reccomend.

This was the first place I decided to go to and I found my dress there straight away! They have a range of different styles - so I tried quite a few on but when you know you know! Rachael is lovely and had myself and my bridesmaids laughing all through the appointment. Prices are reasonable, my perfect dress was in my preferred price range, and they have their own alteration service. On my final fitting Sara, who is also lovely, told me exactly how to get the dress on so I could let my bridesmaids know. Through every interaction I felt like these ladies were interested in my wedding and no question was too big or small. I highly recommend Dress the Bride.

Highly recommend Dress the Bride. Rachael and Sara were so friendly and patient with me as I tried on almost every dress in the shop before finding the dress I wanted to wear for my wedding. I found the atmosphere in the shop a lot more relaxed than other bridal shops I had visited, with no pressure on me to buy straight away (Rachael helped me to take photos during my first visit of my favourite dresses and I went away and thought about it, then came back to try on my favourite dress again before deciding to purchase it) and I thought there were so many more options of dresses that I could try on here in bigger sizes that fit me compared to other shops. Thanks for all your help, the dress was perfect!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dress the Bride! I booked an appointment for their sample sale last weekend and whilst these are shorter appointments (60 minutes) I had the best experience. I had messaged a few times prior to this regarding dresses and was always responded to promptly. We looked through some dresses I had liked prior to the appointment and managed to try lots of other styles in the time I was there. I ended up picking a dress completely different to what I thought I wanted but it is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. I did not feel pressured at all and Sara was nothing but professional- would recommend anyone dress shopping to start here.
