Clean environment,two spacious floors, lots of machines and equipment to fit your gym goals whether you are new or experienced. Can get a bit crowded but using the app to check how many people are in the gym is an easy fix to get a less packed experience.

Lottie is my PT & Strength and Conditioning coach. She is absolutely brilliant at what she does and has successfully got me in the best shape of my life in and out of my boxing season. Not only is she an excellent PT but she is an extremely caring person that will consider all factors of your life when you join her team. I would recommend The Gym Group & Lottie to anyone!

Absolutely love this gym and would recommend it to anyone .It's the first gym I've actually felt comfortable in and thats down to all the staffs positive attitude, making you feel welcome and helping with advice when needed.I want to give a special mention to Jason, not only is he an amazing PT but his an Asset to The Gym Group, without you there it wouldn't be the same. He brings fun , energy and happiness to all of his classes and just his presents makes it a great place to be.Jason as a personal trainer, what can I say, I really cannot recommend him enough, he will advise you and give you all the encouragement and help needed to reach your desired goals, his pt sessions are fun but he will make you work to the best of your ability and that's what we are there for.I just wanted to say thank you for this past year, working along side you and reaching my goals has been a massive journey in my life and thats down to all your hard work and helping me reach them, so thank you.Always be you Jason because you really are amazing at your job xx

Such a great gym! The staff are so welcoming and are always happy to help. My PT sessions with Lottie are great, she makes you feel so comfortable but also understand how to help you achieve your goals!

Excellent gym. Always clean and tidy. Never had to wait for equipment. They're about to do another refresh". Not sure what they're refreshing as it was done a few months ago and still looks immaculate! Jason and Laurence are super friendly and welcoming. They always find time for a little chat to see how you're doing."

Great gym with a great environment. Lottie is an excellent PT & will get you to where you want to be.I also really enjoy the spin held by the instructors.

What an amazing Gym, the Gym Group Basildon is always so clean, staff including PT’s are so helpful and classes are amazing.Well worth the money, I can’t fault this Gym, I recommend to all.

The best gym in Bas town!!! I left my other gym and joined the gym group after doing a taster class and realising how good it was. The staff are always motivating and put you at ease - special shout out to Jason for making classes fun and being super friendly

This is the only gym I have ever felt comfortable in. Every person in there is so lovely, equipment is clean as are the toilets and changing rooms. If you want PT you need Jason (or take his classes, they are always amazing) - he has helped me completely change my body and the way I approach fitness in general. For the first time I am actually enjoying exercising and always end up in howls of laughter during sessions and classes. Highly recommend.

A great place with a good vibe. It’s always clean and everyone is lovely, but Jason is by far the best class instructor and PT I have ever trained with. His Zumba classes are the best EVER! and always so much fun! As a PT he pushes you to get the results you want (but in a good way). You can tell he genuinely cares and wants you to succeed as much as you do yourself. He’s the best in the business as far as I’m concerned! 5 stars every time !
