I've got to say all the staff on ward 1 are all diamonds they are marvellous, since spending a few days there when I was pregnant with heart problems almost 2 years ago to having to have a procedure done a couple of weeks ago they can't do enough, always treat me with true passionate care. Thanks all from the patient with no end of problems aha.

Ward 10 fantastic. Team work includes all of the staff. I think this ward could give other hospitals in the vicinity some training. Fantastic guy’s thank you for everything, you were all totally fantastic with my father. Thank you very much. This have restored my faith in the NHS. Thank you all once again.

This hospital is an absolutely joke. My pregnant partner had to do a CT scan which the doctor said the ct site will give her a special cover on her belly because of the baby and guess what? Absolutely nothing. I will sue this hospital if something happens with our baby because of that amount of radiation. Not to mention the disorganisation of this hospital. Have to drive 45 minutes from home because this is the only hospital who can check babies however Royal Glamorgan in Llantrisant or the hospital in Bridgend it’s a 10 min drive. NHS is completely discombobulated…

Had to have an ultra sound on my stomach. All came back negative thank goodness. This visit was last October or so. Never left a review so here it is: The parking was tricky. Having never been there and there being a lot of construction, I took a minute to find parking. The ride there was quite a trek.Very busy and masks and sanitizer at the ready. Nice little shop I grabbed some overpriced water from. Minimal wait. Fast procedure and I was on my way out.Left with covid however. Or so I believe be ause the next day I had it. Should have worn a mask!In conclusion, was an easy painless visit. Can't fault it. Thanks.

My wife suffered a stroke last week and was admitted to Prince Charles Hospital Merthyr TydfilShe has been in Ward 10 and the nursing care and occupational therapy has been excellent. The staff are so kind and helpful and keep me updated on progress on a daily basis. When I phone the ward with any concerns they are always polite and friendly.A wonderful hospital and I feel very fortunate to have this facility in the NHS.

Been having treatment at PCH hospital for approx 3 weeks now , attended A&E due to a TIA , the treatment i recieved was brilliant and all be it the department was quiet that day , the investigation work the staff carried out was second to none and they were great . Since then i have attended the medical day centre and again my experience has been amazing , a great team of doctors and nurses , cant thank them all enough .

Extremely Frustrating Experience at A&EI recently had an incredibly disheartening visit to the A&E with my 14-month-old baby. We endured an agonizing 7-hour wait, during which the staff seemed indifferent to the challenges parents face with young children. What truly baffled me was the repeated request for urine samples. Not only did it demonstrate a lack of organization, but it also suggested a concerning disregard for patient records. They asked me for samples twice, claiming to have lost the results from the initial one. This not only wasted my time but also raised questions about the competence of their administrative processes. The overall atmosphere felt apathetic, and it's evident that the staff's lack of concern for patients' well-being contributes to an unpleasant experience. I believe the lengthy wait and disorganization could negatively impact even a healthy person's well-being.

Had an assessment and X rays after falling off horse in mountains. Was there for 7 hours as kept x-raying wrong bones etc. Everytime I was wheeled along the staff were complaining to each other about other staff. Got to the ward at midnight but ward completely dominated by a loud overbearing patient who has been in for weeks. The staffmollycoddled her even if they were with other patients. Needs to be much better management of staff. Staff need to be focused and methodicalBest were the lovely Indian nurses at night who were gentle and efficient. Felt largely ignored.Physios also fab.
