Such a slick operation, as one service finishes another begins. Parallels with the circle of life I guess. However they are in the dispatch business and rather good at it I conclude.

I had my son cremated at breakspear and his ashes put into the childrens peter pan gardens. The service was lovely, meaningful and we even lit candles. Our wishes were respected at all times. We had our ashes back in a lovely urn and sprinkled them in the peter pan gardens which is absolutely beautiful. Thank-you for your service , your upkeep the gardens are always kept so nice and most of all your constant support over the years.

We used the East chapel. It was nice and bright, music was clear and a microphone meant everyone could hear the service. There was a nice waiting room next door. This is the smaller chapel compared to the West.

Visited yesterday in very bad weather to put some flowers in the Hall of Memory for my Mum on her birthday and to see the rose bush and plaque set up in remembrance of my Grandad. Beautiful gardens and very peaceful plus the cleanest toilets I've ever had the pleasure to use, and that is rare these days :)Not forgetting the enquiry team who are always pleasant and informative.

Generally a spick and span place to visit especially the grounds which are serene and beautiful. This helps knowing that your loved ones are in peace in such a wonderful place. Buildings showing their age a bit now. Car parking spacious and easy.

Breakspear Crematorium
Attended a funeral here recently. Everything seemed well organised. Great memorial service - felt very personal. They had obviously gone to lengths to learn as much as possible about the deceased. Funerals are never pleasant but I felt like this went as well as it could've done. Grounds were pleasant. I disagree with a previous reviewer who said the seating was inadequate - maybe they have been refurbished since then or we had a different room.
