The Chineside Beach Cafe - Durley DeneProbably one of the very best located Cafes on Bournemouth seafront, even in the cold, wet conditions of today Sun 8th Jan 2023.Took the dog our for a walk but got caught in rain so called in to Chineside. The welcome was poor, not even a Hello ! Seated at table no 1......took a look at the menu & specials board. Cold, windy and rainy day so thought the vegetable soup with Crusty Bloomer" would be a tasty option !! We waited ages to be served so in the end I approached the bar and waiting staff and asked to order......the waitress seemed uninterested to be honest.Drinks came

Unexpected little find. Right on the beach with a brilliant selection of proper lunches and cakes. Had the biggest bakewell tart I've ever seen. Staff were lovely. It was busy but plenty of tables. Definitely a great way to break up a long beach walk.

I come here every day after my dog has had his daily swim.I normally just have a coffee but sometimes have a breakfast.Always great quality with exceptional service.One of the reasons why I love living here.Thanks to everyone at Chineside, bravo!

We went to Harvester for a breakfast. Unfortunately they were short of muffins plus had so dirty tables, so we decided to move to Chineside which was just next to Harvester. It was quite a bit more expensive than Harvester but it is understandable in the location just next to the beautiful beach. We ordered breakfast and 2 drinks. Lemonade tasted as normal ordinary lemonade from supermarket which was a bit surprising what you get for £3. I was very happy about the Egg Benedict. It was very tasty but my wife's opinion is that they don't make the hollandaise sauce wasn't very good. I would definitely recommend to have a breakfast there but you have to prepare to pay more than Harvester. View from the balcony is outstanding.

Windy upstairs but very cosy downstairs. Great stop off for breakfast when walking along the prom from Bournemouth.

Usually have a takeaway coffee from this place but on this occasion decided to eat in on the roof terrace. Beautiful views of the beach and very relaxed environment with friendly and smiley staff.The coffee is good as too was the pastries (they also have a good selection of cakes too!!)Seating is limited so it’s worth timing your visit well, if you wish to eat in.

Busy place in the morning, but we had some luck and found table quickly. Food very good and fresh! I had Eggs Royale and my friend had Large Chineseside for breakfast
