The 18mm plywoods sheets (Structural Shuttering 18mm Plywood 2440 x 1220 x 18mm CE2+ C+/C BS EN314-2 Class 3 EN636-2 FSC Mix 70% TT-COC-002219) were cut in 4 to fit between rafts (600x1220mm) as floorboards in the loft, the only ones which developed bents and mold were the ones supplied by Mid-Sussex Timber (about 5-6 panels) and is evident the problem is by panel and not by area. This sheets were kept with no or minimal weight on top, they were cut and placed inside from day 1. I have older plywood floorboards supplied by another merchant close to Horley station without any problem at all (after 2 years).In the roof there have been no leaks, no water tank present or any water pipes.I had several other sheets fitted 2 years earlier which are in the original condition even having weight on top.It seems Mid-Sussex timber stores the sheets outside and they sell it as good immaculate ones. Mid-Sussex timber didn't reply to the email and phone calls I made, taking no responsibility. I have the emails and invoice as proof I purchased from them. Avoid if you can.

The lady in the warehouse was fantastically helpful but the guys at the till and the office made me feel that I was buying their first born child rather than a piece of wood.

Couldn’t have asked for better service- the lady (sorry I didn’t get your name!) went out of her way to make sure we had the right materials and for the best price possible. Really friendly, helpful and at a fantastic price. Couldn’t ask for better service.

Incredibly helpful. I needed to make a something for a show and one of the guys spent heaps of time with me showing me how I could make it and make sure its structurely sound etc. Very reasonable pricing. I honestly felt like they trying to help me find the best value wood for my project instead of selling me something I didn't need. They were also able to cut the huge board which was very helpful.

horrendously over priced, sent our lad down there to get 1 sheet of 18mm mdf and x8 bits of 2x2 @2.4mA wopping £140!!!!!!Wickes would of been half that cost
