Café Croyde is a regular hang out for us, and we are never disappointed. Always great coffee, and always welcomed by the friendly staff. They cope well in busy periods even with the surf school so close by and so many people around! The facilities are clean and the view is unbeatable.

Visited twice on a weekend away in Croyde. The cakes are lovely and moist and the coffees are very tasty. Staff were polite and the cafe is in a nice location not far from the local National Trust car park and opposite a surf school. It was shame that our sandwiches took almost 40 minutes to arrive, and the staff didn't seem to acknowledge this, but they were perfectly tasty once they did and thankfully we weren't in any rush.

Been hear a couple of times now, lovely pasties and sandwich's, staff friendly and efficient. We've been lucky enough to sit outside both times, lovely view over Croyde beach. Then there's the stunning walk to Baggy point you can enjoy before or after you eat.

Pros: very good tasting coffee, beautiful spot, nice decor, polite staffCons: understaffed during peak times - why have so many covers if you can’t serve them all to a high standard during peak times?, we waited 45 mins for a very average plate of food, we were informed after ordering and paying for a dish that veggie sausages weren’t available and were offered veggie burgers instead which didn’t taste good, 1 toilet for c.75 covers is completely inadequate - there was a constant queue, staff were shouting out table numbers when food and drink was ready when their location is fixed - briefing staff on the table locations would have avoided thisOverall I would maybe give this place a second chance on a quiet day but suspect the high rating is reflective of the lack of alternatives in the area

We had a really nice breakfast here ! Nice views and luckily good weather !It was very busy but the food was out very quickly despite us being a big group !The only thing that got me thinking is that even though it’s such a busy place you only have one toilet . ! And there’s a queue when busy as expected…

Good place to hang out, grab a snack cuppa or more, best when the weather is good, However fabulous when we visited in the cold of winter! Nice staff Chef looks like a pirate!

Lovely cafe with great sea foods and a tasty menu.Portion sizes were very good, we had the homemade fish finger sandwiches on very fresh granary bread.Friendly and attentive staff, plus has indoor seating for colder days.

Nice little place next to the beach offering all sorts of food items from cooked breakfast, toasties, sandwiches and local produced Devon pasty and sausage rollsWas also dog friendly which was a massive plus. It was next to a surf school so at peak times it could quite busy. They also serve alcohol drinks with a local draft of lager which was a nice touch.

A really lovely cafe and my family and I visited numerous times throughout our two week holiday in Croyde. Spotlessly clean, well run and beautiful views. I couldn’t recommend enough and look forward to returning next year! This is a local business run well.
