Sam was his usual fantastic self. He is attentive and in a very genuine way. I love the atmosphere and enjoy sitting with a drink and book as much as I do having a lovely meal.

Lovely atmosphere, top staff and they serve a divine fillet steak. For afters try the dark molten middle pudding with poached pear! .. wow!Our compliments to the kitchen crew and front of house staff, thankyou!

We had a pleasant time at the Bookshop for their infamous Sunday lunch. The staff were courteous and timely with taking orders. The atmosphere was especially good to note. There is tasteful decor and comfortable seating.We ordered the beef, pork and wellington (v) for lunch with a range of sides included. The food was good, albeit lukewarm. When the waitress enquired after the meal, we did say about this and they were apologetic and made suitable arrangements for us.Overall, we enjoyed and would recommend. We look forward to coming again.

Cafe by day, restaurant by night, the bookshop is such a vibrant and lively place, with loads of personality and character. The staff matched the tone, being very helpful and took good care of us! The menu was diverse and interesting, veering away from just avo and eggs, although the food, in only mine and not my partners opinion, was just slightly under par from my expectations of such a popular and highly-rated place. The smoothies and drinks were perfect that being said, with a good variety of specials too. We had a blast, and will come back next time we’re in Hereford no doubt!

Lovely food here, I ordered a dish that was meant to have a bacon chop which they had run out of but I was able to swap this for steak with no issues, everything tasted incredible and the service was great

Had a lovely time at the bookshop last night, the service was excellent, as always, our server was very attentive so we didn’t have to wait at all even though the restaurant was very busy.we had the sharing T bone steak which was cooked to perfection, I’d also recommend the smashed potatoes, which we’d never tried but will definitely have again. After our lovely meal we went out to the beautifully decorated garden to finish our drinks and there was a band entertaining everyone. All in all a very pleasant evening, thank you bookshop x

We loved the design of the space, being an interior architect I really appreciated all of the details! Then the food came out…my my what a yummy few hours we had wining and dining our way through steaks and red wine. We are really looking forward to visiting the other restaurants!

We had one of the best Sunday Lunches at The Bookshop. Everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The atmosphere was great and the service from Trinity was impeccable! It was grest value for money too. We will definitely be back.
