Went for a milestone birthday. The food was delicious and plentiful. Although there could do to be a bit more choice for vegans. The service was attentive and we weren't hurried. The price was reasonable. Within walking distance of Tower Hill but didn't feel touristy. Highly recommended.

Dropped in unannounced for lunch on a Saturday and had the best Italian meal in a very long time! The pizza was unreal and the fresh pasta is just delicious. Service was outstanding, friendly and efficient. Hidden gem it seems. Highly recommend

Excellent food every time and the staff are impeccably kind and a joy to chat to despite how busy they get. The food is freshly made and you can taste it, it's truly a favourite of mine and my partner. We take all our good friends here as an easy no brainer for good vibes and incredibly good food - it's our only Italian staple because no other Tuscan Italians do it as good as Il Toscano! A true gem in Wapping and East London! Jorge is truly a delight during every visit!

I’ll be very honest, my friend and I couldn’t get a booking elsewhere tonight so we decided to try out Il Toscano 1. We were completely blown away by the freshly homemade egg pasta with prawns, tomato, garlic and sweet chilli. As someone who’s just come back from a two week trip in Italy, I can tell you that this taglierini is incredible. We also had the fried seafood for two which was delicious but the portion size was too big for us…I’m not complaining as I took it home and the boyfriend enjoyed it very much. This place was a very unexpected surprise and I cannot wait to go back and try the pappardelle with duck ragu. Additionally the service was impeccable and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend you try this place!

I have travelled from Essex to come to this restaurant. Absolutely fantastic food which is authentic Italian. I have travelled across Italy and this food reminds me of my travels there. I am without doubt coming back as it is worth every penny. Thank you so much for an unforgettable evening with great food and live music. The service is second to none. Book now to avoid disappointment!

Recently visited and it was an amazing experience! The food quality was exceptional, with everything tasting incredibly fresh. We tried the sea bass soup, which was a delightful start to our meal. The pizza, with its perfect crust and rich toppings, was a hit. But the highlight was definitely the lasagne, served in a huge portion that was delicious. Service was excellent, and they provided us all with a free parting drink.

The food is amazing. On the picture is the salmon nicoise salad (yes, with a real thick piece of salmon!) and a Pizza Capricciosa.Both dishes absolutely delicious. Reasonable prices.The service was great too.Atmosphere was a bit dead, but perhaps because we went on a week day.
