Good clean walk. No dog poop. Decent parking. Steep on way up. We did it with 8yr old girl, 6yr old boy and 3yr old in buggy. I've been to nicer forest areas that aren't nearly as steep. But it's still good. We brought bikes but then never actually took them up. Too steep for that. A good hour or more walk up with kids. No toilets. And park in 2nd car park. First one has maybe 6-10 spaces whereas 2nd car park looks to fit maybe 20cars. Not well signposted. Just drove past the small one and keep right.

Beautiful walk, even in the misty weather. There are no bathrooms at the car park that google maps directs you to, just as an FYI. There are some picnic tables and benches along the way.

We had a very enjoyable 15km hike around Banagher Glen loop in the Sperrin Mountains on Sunday. Great scenery and the river and waterfalls put on a great show after the recent thaw. A super spot for a good hike or a family walk in County Derry.

Lovely forest and river walk with bridges and waterfalls that takes you to a reservoir. There is an option of returning back the way you came or continuing on a circular route that will bring you back to your car. Plenty of parking in a lower and higher carpark. Located between Feeny and Dungiven. Stop in Feeny Spar shop for a coffee and hot food before or after your walk.

Wow what a beautiful walk. Deep gorges, running rivers and copious wild flowers. I am a wheelchair user. I only managed half the walk. It is possible to come here but I would suggest only a power wheelchair or an electric scooter. It is a fair gradient in parts so for someone pushing a manual wheelchair it may be challenging unless you have popeye with you! There’s one kissing gate but I was able to reverse my scooter in with no problem and drive out the other side. I was told by another walker on the second half of the walk that I didn’t do, there are 2 cattle grids. One has a kissing gate beside it and the other doesn’t. This may be an issue if you are completely wheelchair bound.

Beautiful walk from the carpark to the Dam. Not too steep either. Only problem was horse flies. Dozens of them. My wife and I had to run a part of it. Between us we got bitten 5 times so bring fly repellent for sure.

More signage would be great as we thought we were lost a few times. Beautiful place. Great walks.
