Fantastic stay, the owner was super friendly and made us very welcome.

SCAM ALERT. Worst experience I have ever had. I stayed in as I needed a bed for the night. The site indicated in small font , made of course by the host in which she denies, stating if you check in after 8 pm (too early) you will be charged £30 plus. I just paid and it took 1 hour to even get any service. There is no internet service in this location btw. You can’t call anyone. The host messaged me and threatened me that if I don’t pay extra £30 she would “get someone to come and sort me out”. Just rude and abrupt. It’s a shame because the location is nice but everything else is bad from poor management to respect. There’s a housekeeper who lives there who does not understand English?? I don’t understand why someone would employ a non English understanding and speaking keeper? The rooms are all messy and dirty, it smelt like blood when I walked in. The kettles are filthy I even took a picture see pic. The fridge hasn’t been used for 2 years. It’s a rot. The house keeper clearly isn’t doing her job. But she gets free accommodation and apparently doesn’t even get paid. What do you expect. I recommend sting away from this place. Then guess what the host tried charging me an extra £63 as apparently I didn’t show up. This is a pure scam. If I’m charged I have evidence and will present it to met bank. BEWARE!

The owner is a very competent and helpful person. Rooms are clean and tidy. There is fully equipped kitchen facility and nice garden at the back. Having this all you feel like at home not hotel. Price is very reasonable, I would say competitive towards the offer given.

Clean, large room, lots of wardrobe space shared bathroom, Good location for travelling and on nice road. T& Cs a little confusing but reasonable. Plenty of parking. We were asked to pay a deposit when we arrived. I'm pleased to say it was returned to us promptly after our departure.

Beware. The advertised price does not include the countless other additional charges such as the 'mandatory' bedding charge of £20-30, £10 parking, excess rubbish charge, 'optional' cleaning charge and not forgetting the £100 deposit which they will unhelpfully not return for 14 days. Avoid.

Host is a devout liar, a thief and a down right terrible human being. This host , if you can call her that , charges you so many fees- reigning to £200 plus (parking , bedding (haha) , arriving late and using public facilities) . I don’t know why this host is like this- t he lost devout liar I have ever met. Room was not as advertised , was not clean and bed sheets had feces on them. Shocking!!!! She keeps claiming that others are leaving fake reviews, but they are 100> honest reviews and honest guests . T he host cancelled my reservation and claimed I didn’t arrive - money hungry scammer and avoids real reviews. STAY AWAY ! You will be scammed by this person ! Sad world in humanity !!!

Updated.Not gonna come back, worst place ever.Charged extra upon arrival, terrible room and everything inside seems like an 100 year old house, most importantly, rude, racist, arrogant owner, even scolded us for not informing our arrival time (which was not mentioned its compulsory and we are unable to estimate our arrival time too), and many more but I'm just gonna end here. A nightmare experience.Also, funny how the owner faked so many good reviews" and keep saying all the real "bad reviews"are fake.Avoid this place at all cost."

Lovely place to stay! Kind, polite and very helpful staff, great views after we were kindly given an upgrade. Great choice of food at breakfast, easy to find in the city. We have not any complaint about rooms, beds or toilet. Really enjoyed it there
