It is the nearest supermarket in my area and amazon pick up centre. They only have two staffs at the check out and they need to deal with too many things such as finding an amazon delivery for customer, pick up item for deliveroo gerocery orders, serving customer. There is always long queue. I think they need more staffs to handle all enquaries.

Every trip to this shop is a waste of time. They almost never have basic items like eggs or sparkling water. Prices are too high comparing to other shops. There is around 7 grocery shops on the same street so there is no reason for me to go back there anymore.

Small local supermarket open until 11pm daily, very handy. Usually friendly, helpful staff and good quality produce but can be a bit on the pricey side. Basic things can sometimes be out of stock.

I already reviewed this Shop two years ago and gave it 4* but now things have changed and so the review needs updating:I understand the Economy is suffering and we all have to survive. I also understand how the cost of living has to be increased to cope with the rising bills but I am shocked to see how the prices have spiked over the last year in this small shop, considering the Staff is absolutely useless and the selection of products on sale is appalling. The long life vegetables are dumped on the shelves with no care to display the correct price and all the good work from the refurbishment happening few years back is now lost. The chillers are filled with little common sense,Vegan, Vegetarian and Meat/Fish products are often mixed on the same shelf, including the COOP own range GRO which tastes absolutely vile and the Company is desperately trying to push! The Bakery used to be really nice but now the horrible bagged bag prevails and I was horrified to check that the price of a baguette has jumped to 1.20£ from about 80p.Everything else is now between 2.50 and 5£ average, will it be chocolate or a coffee jar. Adding to this the fact that the shop now is used to pick online shopping and the premises are the size of a shoe box, the shelves are often empty at 17:30 pm, five hours before closing and nobody cares. The issue is that this Branch has been open for years and we carried them through thick and thin, including during lock down when it was just easier to order food online. The way to thank customers seems to be to rip them off day after day.It might sound like a very harsh review but the fact that the queue to the checkouts is non existent it's a testimony to the fact that customers are going elsewhere. Understandably.

Grubby. Bad selection of fruit and vegetables. Generally disappointing.Went there last Friday. There was a big lemon covered in green mould. Unbelievable. Don't the staff care at all?No self-service tills.Needs total refurbishment and new management.

Horrendously understaffed and the staff that do work here have either had not even basic customer service training or have stopped trying as working here is a losing battle. One member of staff walking round, coughing without covering their mouth. Since this has been refitted and the tills moved the queueing system is an absolute disaster with the queues blocking the Isles, all very confusing no adequate signage or queue control, just not managed at all.

I'm a fan of the Co-op. This one is a bit average compared to other Co-op stores. It's a decent size and has a good selection of fresh, dry, chilled and frozen products. The aisles are quite narrow and it does get rather congested if anyone else is there or if a member of staff is doing shelf filling. The three staff I spoke to there were helpful and friendly, but seemed like they needed more of them to keep on top of things. Parking is on street with a couple of spaces behind the store, but no dedicated car park. The store is fully accessible, but it would be an uncomfortable experience shopping there due to the narrow aisles. Probably could do with a bit of an update.

Don't trust the offers as they are often wrong. This is the 4th or 5th time this happens to me in this specific shop. They have a product on offer and when arriving to the till the product is charged full price. When asked the supervisor she first said the product is not the one discounted and I took the wrong one. I saw her the attached photo and took her to see the product. Then she changed the strategy and said that the barcodes don't match and that I need to check the barcodes. She refused to offer the product at the discounted price and therefore I didn't take the product and told her that they need to be more clear as it is ridiculous to ask customers to compare barcodes. They should be doing their job and update price tags.
