One till open, and three members of staff standing near the tills just directing you to do self-service. Why don't those three members of staff just man those three remaining tills?

Parking next to the shop. Good selection of tools and all materials for DIY, all you need for your project. Good selection of gardening stuff, included tools, compost, pots, plants indoor and outdoor. Mixing paint section, bathroom, interior finishing decorations. Friendly and helpful staff and good opening hours.Plenty outdoor plants for your garden in a good price.

I wanted some small screws for door handles needed quickly 50 small screws 15.98. Amazon 3.99 for 20. How is B &Q still in business won't be for much longer at this rate. Help from the assistant was good.

Although not always stocked with items one would feel are common need ie rain pipe brackets, I find the staff are extremely helpful. One member of staff took a lot of trouble helping me re hoses and fittings. Their order and collect works well too.

I was after some rocksalt. Everywhere was sold out except B&Q in Kendal. I did an online click and collect order. I got to the store staff very friendly and my order was waiting.

The click and collect service is good.. but keep away from the store on a Sunday. The staff were congregating around the front of the store but no staff are available to help when as a customer you need help with timber etc. Spend half your time trying to find a staff member to help. Do not recommend ..
