Harpur's Coaches

We have enjoyed some lovely day trips with Harpurs. The buses are prompt and drivers are friendly. You get your own reserved seat for the day. The buses are clean and comfortable.Unfortunately they have decided to no longer pick up at Belper which has probably put a stop to me using them in the future.

My school bus is always at least 25 mins late

Sensibly priced coach hire, day excursions, clean comfortable coaches with friendly experienced drivers. Sadly the proprietor Nick Harpur has taken the hard decision to look for a buyer for the company as he now wishes to retire, hopefully the company will still provide value and service with a new owner and we wish Mr Harpur the very best for his imminent retirement.10/01/23 ......update....the company has so far failed to find a buyer and is now scaling down its operations, coach hire is however still available and the same level of service will be offered as before until such a time when a decision will be made as to the future of the company.15/04/23Review update.... Harpurs is currently undergoing a scaling down of many of its school contracts and streamlining its coach operations, the depot now incorporates viking transport which use the depot as a base from which they operate, whether this will be the way forward for Harpurs or is only a temporary measure remains to be seen . However in the meantime bookings for private hire are still being taken.Business update 10/8/23 ......Harpurs is currently thriving and the excursion program has really exceeded expectations this year, the private hire section is also running at full capacity despite the downsizing of the coach fleet.

An excellent company. Took us all for a great day out in Blackpool. The driver, Anthony, was polite, friendly, welcoming and helpful. A great experience that we will be repeating.

The coach we travelled in was clean and comfortable, it arrived on time.The driver was polite and professional.I would like to travel with them again.I had a very nice day at Stratford on Avon.

Had a great trip to Rhyl on 18th August had a very good trip up thanks to Anthony our driver and had safe journey home will definitely book again

I lost my phone and they gave it back and the driver Geoff was very nice to all of us and told us some information relating to the place we where in.

This company put the safeguarding of my son in jeopardy... Instead of taking him to school he was left on the street along with a number of other children. This isn't acceptable
