Got a mixed starter and asked for barbecue sauce instead of sweet and sour and asked for some onions in the box with starter.Got charged an extra £2 for requests I thought it was a bit steep as takeaways already cost a fortune these days.Don't see why barbecue sauce shd cost more than sweet an sour and surely a few pieces of fried onions shouldn't cost so much extra for a regular customer. As for food chicken satay was way overcooked, dry and stringy and sauce portions were so tiny they hardly coated ribs and chicken.

So after seeing a review on Dundee takeaway review on Facebook I decided to give this place a go. Just to put a few things in perspective to give you some clarity of the review. First of all I ordered it for myself and where I'm from originally in the far south and the price I paid for it was no where what I would of gotten in the south. First off all; quite important to note. There is no card transactions over the phone. There is no website and I could not find a menu to order from. Perhaps there is a Facebook page I am not aware of.Ok thats that out of the way. I ordered the salt and pepper munchie box and a large 1.5ltr Coke. The person I spoke to over the phone whilst placing my order was friendly enough and the delivery time for a Saturday evening at 18:50; arrived at 19:20. So very reasonable Consideringn the date and time.I paid in total £23.30 and that included delivery. What I received was a massive munchie box filled to the absolute brim. As soon as I open the box I was stunned by the portion size. Loads of food. Chips, spring roles, Chinese spare ribs, what I believe to be thin tempura chicken strips with chinese curry sauce, sweet and sour sauce, chow mein, egg fried rice and the edition of some prawn crackers and fortune cookies. Everything was delicious. Yes indeed it was salty and that is not a criticism because I got exactly what I ordered. As for portion size, you can quite clearly see.yhat this could of fed 2/3 very, very hungry adults. I barely touched it; and I hadn't eaten all day.As a point of reflection a few things bothered me slightly but I would hope the establishment would consider it as constructive feedback as I rarely leave detailed reviews for places.1. I didn't get a takeaway menu as I asked for. (No Biggie but I would of like to of posted the menu on Google maps for others to order from).2. I was surprised to notice that it was a cash only payment on delivery. Yet again not a Biggie as I had cash with me, fortunately. I would of expected a card payment over the phone to be more practical. - yet again each to thier own.3. No website link or face book page on Google maps for the restaurant & that there was no app or Uber eats/foodhub/justeat. Which seemed to be a small gripe for me. Yet again I'm not putting the place down for that, rating wise.Overall I would definitely give this place another go and return. Price to value point ratio? This hits it on the head for me. I shall be eating this Chinese for a few days, which is fine with me. I really did enjoy the food that I did eat and look forward to seeing what else there is on the menu/combination meal deals.4 out of 5 stars because there's room for improvement. I hope this review helps.
