Rawr Express within Primark Reading

It can be a bit 'hit and miss' at this place but my last experience was fabulous. A really good clean threading of my brows and upper lip by Saudeep who was happy, positive and made me feel very welcome

Changing this from 4 to 2 after they moved to Primark. Totally uncomfortable, totally cheap atmosphere and service with premium prices.

Reading location - Avoid at all costs!! No care taken on natural nails. One used the drill right the way back to my natural nail without soaking then when I said it hurt, they soaked however not for long enough, she proceeded to peel the gel off causing extreme damage to my nails, she tried to cover this up by telling me I needed to take a break from gel. The next person then filed my natural nail bed with a coarse file as “that’s what you do”I attempted to leave after seeing the damage caused to my nails and I was asked to pay for removal. Obviously I refused.I’m shocked that this still happens in places.Just because you watch a YouTube video doesn’t mean you are a nail technician. If you don’t want paper thin, damaged nails avoid!

Worst experience ever!!!! Came in for gel nails, the lady that worked on me seemed to clearly have no clue of what she does. She cut the skin close to my nails and I bled for about an hour and so. The gel itself was so thin that I could see my nail underneath it. It started coming off the next day and I just took everything off coz my fingers are still hurting so bad.The picture I have attached was taken on the next day!! Never returning!!!

I love the threading- it is done very well. Sandeep and Gita are very professional every time I go. I don't like the venue in Primark. It is too exposed. Maybe they can put some screens for privacy. I only go because of the lovely women who work there and serve everybody with a smile.

Absolutely appalling service!!! Having gone in on Saturday to book an appointment for eyelash extensions I spent 20 minutes with one of the receptionist/technicians talking and showing pictures of what I was looking to achieve and having a skin test.When booking my appointment I asked how long the service would take and was shocked when the response was an hour (for Russian extensions I should have known something was wrong) I queried the timing and asked if she needed to show the picture to any of the technicians to ensure the timings were correct and that there would be enough time to complete the service. Having been reassured I left excited about getting my lashes done ready for my first holiday in 3 years….On the day of my appointment I arrived in town 30, minutes before my appointment (to run a few errands) only to receive a phone call as I was walking through the car park to inform me that I hadn’t been booked in for the right service….. as you can imagine at this point having spent 20 minutes on Saturday doing everything I could to avoid this scenario I was livid!!!When I arrived at the salon I was told to take a seat as the technician hadn’t yet arrived.When the technician did finally arrive 15 minutes later she again informed me that she was unable to do the service and in fact they don’t offer this service. She then questioned me about who had booked me in when I came in on Saturday. After a vague description (as I couldn’t really remember) she looked at 2 other members of staff and stated that she knew who it was.After offering me party lashes that would last 2-4 days and telling me this was all she could offer me as this was all that the lash technician was trained in she continued to blame the receptionist/ technician that had booked me in for booking the wrong service in and not knowing what she was doing.As you can imagine I left feeling completely deflated and with only a day till my holiday had no chance of getting my lashes done.AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO HEAR ADULTS PLAYING THE BLAME GAME

Terrible. Told girl 3 times I had gel on my natural nails. Gel polish removed with electric buffer. Niles filed so thin they are constantly peeling. Photos immediately after. No apology from the Manager. Now fingers painful to use and NO response form Head Office. I am complaining to Beauty Ombudsman and Trading Standards as the staff have inadequate training/supervision and English. DO NOT GO THERE

Had my eyebrows threaded in lashious beauty in the oracle and now in the Reading Primark store a few times and usually they do a good job but the lady today took massive chunks out of one of my eyebrows and after years of growing them she has fully ruined them in 5minutes. She then combed them up so when I looked in the mirror I didn’t notice, until I got home and looked at them properly. AVOID if you want to keep your eyebrows in good shape. Absolutely awful service. Will never go back as you can never get the same person to do the service for you. Absolutely gutted, will take months for them to grow backAVOID!!!

Unsurprisingly they didn’t last past 3 days before they started to bobble and lift, this was for a wedding as I was a bridesmaid which was embarrassing as all the others nails were done so well and professional looking. To be charged £30 for such a bodge job that didn’t last 3 days, let alone a week like they advise and be told I can’t have a refund is robbery and seriously bad. Do not go to this overpriced salon as you’re paying for their shop in the oracle not for quality.

I have been coming here for 5 years but it has really gone downhill. Never enough staff on. Have been twice recent weekends and have given up waiting. One person to do threading on a Saturday or Sunday is not enough. Have also tried to get threading done in evenings and been told no one available. Once they were cashing up 730pm when they were supposed to be open until 8pm. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
