Men's changing room hand dryer hasn't been working since I joined 3 months ago. The only water fountain in the gym hasn't been working for the past week or two. Unacceptable. You'd think in a gym the staff would be more disciplined to upkeep basic facilities. Other than that it's okay. Only two press benches which is little for a gym this size but rest of the equipment is fine.

Gym going down hill, been here member 8 plus years here. Management are non existent and unfriendly, which is a shame as was one of the better gyms before. Yanga water never has any flavour in any of the 6 options most of the time and you ask about it to get moans and groans from manager. Machines broken and left for ages, showers are worst ever, either broken, cold water or dirty in general. Hair dryers are temperamental. I have membership at bitterne too which is much better just a bit far from me as work close to this one. It’s a shame now as management have dropped standards in one of the better gyms in Southampton.

Compared to other gyms this is crème de la crème of gyms. Super clean, modern, well equipped. Well worth the extra couple of pounds you could save elsewhere. Member of staff Maria was extremely lovely and helpful with showing me around. Overall, best gym I've been to so far.

It was my first time at any PureGym, and I was very impressed. I bought a day pass for £7.99, did a morning session, went to work, then a teatime session after. Perfect when working away from my home gym. Highly recommend.

Been going to this gym for few years now and have seen the downfall of the management here, have told managers for the last few weeks that the yanga water which I pay for has no flavour as they are to lazy to refill the liquid, the male manager rudely says that I am just trying to get free drinks rather then being helpful when I am paying for this service. Machines are out of order for weeks and don’t get fixed, water pressure in the showers are always low and cold water. Overall bad experience since the last manager has left for the last few months

As good as it gets for PureGym, does get busy at peak times but you cam check ahead. They've got good equipment there

Good gym in general plenty of equipment to use.Rather cramped at busy timesShowers seem to break every 3 or so months and at the moment are freezing cold which is not good if you want a shower after a sweaty workout

Decent gym, reasonably well equipped unless your looking for very specific equipment. Showers are terrible, usually either cold in winter or heated to the temperature of the sun during summer, if they are even working which is rare....

Having just joined PureGym with a multi-gym pass, I decided to visit the Southampton one.It doesn't matter what time of day you go, it's always rammed and there is a constant wait for using equipment which isn't ideal when you have a set plan.The hydromassage is a great addition to the gym experience though so that was one positive

Will take your money and lack on maintenance. Showers cold, equipment out of order for weeks. Locker room people leave locks on lockers for weeks.Used to be a lot better.
