Leeds Pirate - Very easy to book, good availability, good equipment, no extras, good value and a fair cancellation policy. We always book the larger studio when we can even though we're only a 4 piece - standard studio we find a little small but otherwise same level of kit etc. Great facility.

Always a super speedy sharp response, always willing to help and doesn’t feel like you’re talking to a robot.

Went to watch my son and his friends rehearse. Great facilities, only item missing was some chairs for guests.

It was absolutely awesome being able to host our DJ friends while also holding a studio session for some artists to record.. the only down side was the DJ mixer.. compared to the Pioneer 3000s that looked brand new there was a mixer that was proper run down, worse we had to have the master volume at a higher level than we normally would have it.. Apart from that, Pirate Studios have always been a good getaway for us..

Been rehearsing here with a band consistently over last couple of years. It’s always clean and the amps and PA are decent quality. Some of the equipment such as mic stands and the drum stands get beat up and don’t work perfectly, and the main obvious drawback is there’s no-one on hand to quickly sort this out. Heating and cooling units in the studios don’t always work properly, though on the whole they do. Getting in and out with equipment is also a pain due to heavy fire doors that can’t be propped open and repeatedly putting key codes into the external and internal doors. Also, if you forget to register your vehicle on the day you’ll get a parking fine in the post. Customer services do sort these quickly if you let them know you were there on the day, but is still a pain. Overall, this only gets used so much because there are now very few decent options for rehearsal space in Leeds unfortunately, but it does the job and is reasonably priced.

Great rehearsal space and good value when splitting the cost with others. Car parking has a good amount of space, but I did make the mistake of not registering my reg on 1 occasion and did have to pay the fine. Would be a better feature if the website automatically registered your reg for the allocated time slot.
