I had my haircut today with Will who was lovely. I booked last minute and turned up a few minutes late which was no problem for them. Will talked me through everything he was doing, held good conversation and we even started chatting with another client and stylist which created a really nice experience. I’m very happy with service and how my hair looks a feels, even if it was just a quick tidy up.

Welcoming staff, warm atmosphere, never feel rushed, fab cut.

Clean and tidy establishment.My hairdresser was a friendly guy who held a good conversation and my hair cut was drastic but really pleased with it. Layers were cut quite heavily and high up into my hair which I’m personally not that keen on now it’s no longer blow dried to perfection- however, still a lovely job. Worth the price for the service.And the girl who washed and massaged my hair/head was fab.

I got charged 52 pounds for a service that was traumatic, stressful and unsatisfactory.In the end it didn't look like I had been to a salon.This was my first time at the lincoln branch. While booking the appointment, I gave some description of what I wanted for my hair, but I was not told of a timeframe in terms of how long they'd need to get it done as well as I wanted . I got to the appointment 10 mins behind schedule, which was still within their cut off time.The lady who cut my hair was experienced and gave good advice in terms of the hair-cut. For styling, she suggested using a diffuser instead of blow-drying my hair, but I wasn't sure about it. I had mentioned that my hair does get charged and frizzy, so I was concerned the diffuser might not be the right option for me . She convinced me otherwise, saying that I should not worry and she would take care of that. She also said that the use of diffuser would help her finish on time. After the discussion, I decided to trust the process.I got the shock of my life when she showed me the final result. My hair definitely did not look styled! On the contrary, it was wet and frizzy, and I could not appreciate the cut!While in my state of bewilderment and trying to make sense off what just happened, she suddenly mentioned that she had to attend to another client and therefore left me and my hair to someone else to blow dry my hair. The new lady who took charge was very rude and unwelcoming. Her nails poked my face, the hair brush she held kept dropping, and she kept pulling my hair forcefully without even acknowledging that she was hurting me, let alone apologising for the inconvenience .As she rounded up, I expressed my concern that the finished article did not look anything close to what I wanted. The lady immediately snapped at me and told me in such a impolite manner that the fault was with the texture" of "my hair" and had nothing to do with the fact that she was doing a rushed job.I then went ahead speak to the the hairdresser about my dissatisfaction. I have been a loyal customer of Toni and Guy hairdressers for over a year now, and I can confidently say that they are one of the best in the business. The staff is not only highly skilled, but also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Beth, in particular, has been an exceptional colorist. Her knowledge and expertise are amazing and I cannot recommend her enough. The salon itself has a modern and stylish ambiance, making each visit a truly enjoyable experience.I have had everything from haircuts to coloring treatments done at Toni and Guy, and each time I have been thoroughly impressed with the results. The stylists really listen to what I want and always go above and beyond to ensure that I am happy with the end result.I highly recommended Toni and Guy in Lincoln

Lovely staff, I really like them. The salon is great, atmosphere, equipment all good. But please don’t assume anyone can cut curly hair. They say yes but not really. I had a lady that was the best I’d had in a long time but even then I had to redo all the styling when I got home. Another staff member (really lovely chap!) brushed out all my curls, twisted chunks, chopped into it (presumably to reduce bulk) then couldn’t get the curl back so got a curling tong. A re-wet would have sorted most of it. I wouldn’t have left a review but I’ve just cancelled my last appointment and wasn’t asked why. Still in search of the holy grail…….

I am always extremely happy with my cut (Billy ) and colour (Beth) .I can trust them both to give me a low maintenance and fashionable style /colour .The overall experience at the salon for me is always excellent .

Seen on time. Stylist understood my wants and took time with hair.
