Doddle

Went to return clothes I ordered online, handed the guy the parcel and he walks off saying 'Gymshark' and scanned the barcode on the parcel and not the returns bar code I had on my phone.. Turns out the morron redelivered me something I am wanting to return....

Tried to pick parcel up stood by the Doodle sign then 10mins passed asked reception they said join the big single que. If there was a sign at the place saying please join the single que that maybe of a advantage of waiting so long

Doddle used to have their own unit inside Morrisons, which ran quite smoothly. However, for reasons unknown, this service now operates from the tobacco and lottery counter.The problem is, there's usually only one person at this counter, and after queueing for a considerable time, they have to call over another member of staff (who must also have been trained in this area).This causes all sorts of delays, and the time they take to logon to the system, scan the codes (if the scanner is even working), then go locate and return with the item, then scan that through the system, it all takes a very long time.And of you have multiple items to collect, they seem to only be able to collect one at a time, which adds to the time taken to collect the order in total.Plus, if it's a heavier item, sometimes they have to call yet another member of staff to carry it for them.One star for the overworked and beleaguered staff, as it's not their fault, but the fault of the management inside Morrisons.There is so much more Morrisons could do to match similar Doddle service times at other outlets (e.g. Argos), but they just don't seem to want to know.If this continues, I'd rather have items for collection sent further afield, but save time on balance where I do not have to queue for so long at the counter.
