Kamper Kings

We bought a van last year that looked like a good price and good conversion.After its first use we found wrinkles in the carpet and glue on trim, the bed knocks the cupboards and takes off the trim.When we had it serviced the garage told use the gear box was worn and two injectors needed to be replaced at a cost of £1k.He also recommend we have a habitation check which showed the heater wasn't installed correctly with a turret plate risking carbon monoxide poisoning, the gas bottle should have been in a locker and secured not loose and their was no smoke detector or carbon monoxide alarm fitted.We had a number of problems with the van, electrics and engine which we've had to sort and the vans come with no mechanical warranty.All in all it's been a money pit and off the road longer than it's been on.We're talking to trading standards and out the lack of safety features and it sounds like we're not the first to talk to them, buyer beware.

recently purchased a LWB Vivaro conversion from Kamper kings, I have had 4 camper van over the years I this is the best one i have ever owned, the quality of workmanship and finish at Kamper kings is off a very high standard , there customer and after service is also 5 star, if you are looking for a camper van conversion I would highly recommend Kamper Kings. Very impressed with the people, set up, results and value for money from kamper Kings. Had my 65 plate vivaro insulated, lined, carpeted and led lights fitted and was really pleased with the quality of the work. Lovely people, they genuinely care about the work they do and the service they provide. It's made a huge difference to my van, significantly reduced road noise and makes what was my old works van now feel like being in the back of a limousine.

Spent a few days calling around other 'specialist' van companies to help me solve a Captain seat that wouldn't swivel. I was met by ridiculous quotes and even VW snobbery. My last call was to Kamper Kings and from the moment they answered I knew that the team were special. They requested I bring the van over, to which I did then from the get go Phil and John set about fixing the seat base and you could see the passion and want to help me. They understand that each camper irrespective of make model or how expensive it is ...means the world to each owner. I don't usually bother with reviews but I was genuinely taken back by the professional, friendly approach. Quite simply put... Go speak to Kamper Kings for a no nonsense, experience that won't be matched elsewhere. I am already getting my van booked back in for further work - and frankly, not likely to consider using anyone else. Five star service. i called in as i wanted my cushions reupholstering for my campervan, they were very welcoming eventhough i just showed up without an appointment. while i was there i was shown all of the fabrics that they currently have and was also told that if i wanted something different to what they have in store they would happily order it in for me, however they had some lovely grey fabric with a swirly pattern in it that i loved, while i was there i had a look in the van they were currently converting, the work looked amazing as all there units are all hand crafted to fit the van perfectly. Im thinking i may come back at a later date when im ready for a bigger one.

I had my vauxhall vivaro windows supplied and fitted by these. The price was very good and the service was quick. They arranged a day and time that was suitable for us both. I will definitely be going back for more work doing.
